Apparently Jake confirmed this was apparently an album to the band but the label and press took it as an E/P and it never got the promotion their other albums got

I was picking up some weed in Simi and I started talking to one of the other guys in the living room and it turned out that he was good friends with my little brother Sam. As we continued he was mentioning his upcoming tour. And I finally figured out he was the guitarist for Strung Out. I'm also good friends with Darb Gnarl, their first drummer. It was cool because I'm a big fan. NOFX. Is also choice. 🤘

Savant, Razorblade and Mephisto are in my top 5 Strung out favorite songs, fantastic drumming. Strung out is not the same without Jordan Burns, he's the best drummer in Punk rock imo.

(Congratulations, you have been gifted a noteworthy attempt by yours truly, of a very, very, legitimate contender for one of the longest sentences of all time! So take yur time, enjoy the unexpectedness of this pleasant surprise and hey folks....Cheers, bottoms up, and may good fortune and more awesomely, unnecessary longwinded sentences brighten up the remainder of all of youre patient&good natured journeys from here on out!!! BEGINNING OF LONG- WINDED SENTENCE AWESOMENESS !!!!There is a palpable airof conceit, arrogance, and ignorant self-connfidence skidmarked all over my neighbor's faces (that among other things, love to grin in my face as they grimace in disdain hurredly judging&disapproving of all that are not they) that could really use a good punch in their goofy, douchebag fucking faces,(an obvious subconscious plea, literally begging to be taught basic lessons of human decemcy their embarrased parents failed to accomplish during their childhood!) and this coming from a tree hugging pacifist!!!!!However, this easy going guy prefers not to get jammed up with a fresh case so what to do??????Well, a healthy serving of Shed no tears by Flipper or honestly, all of Generic, perhaps the 2nd side ofBF -DAMAGED, and yaa, Undisputed Attitude by Slayer, and most of The Jesus Lizards whole catalog at extreme volume levels work fabulously towards, at the very least, displaying a WE DO NOT CONSENT sentiment LOUD &CLEAR to youre lameass neighbors ridiculous levels of douchebagery etc.etc, ya know, courtesy of youre neighbors blah, blah, blah!! Anyhow, Peace

I saw these guys play in a tiny little bar in Cincinatti [called topcats i think] back in the mid 2000s and it was one of the best shows i ever saw. They played a lot of this live and as one can imagine it was mind blowing. This is the peak

Most punk rock is like vodka; clean, straightforward, you know what you're getting when you crack the bottle. This album though, like an aged fine scotch. Complex, layered, dense, you know you're not getting everything it has to offer on the first go. I used it as a sort of social litmus test as a teenager, if you couldn't understand what made this album brilliant we probably couldn't hang out for any length of time.

The Carpenters could've covered this song and still not ruined its greatness. Julio Iglesias could've covered it in Portuguese and it would've still shined as brightly.
