I’d pull my own teeth instead of watching this video again. Very inefficient and full of cringe worthy moments that could’ve went very badly. Playing with power tools is already dangerous enough, you should really think about wearing something that will at least cover your toes before that makita chainsaw gets hungry and takes a bite. I hope you carry on and at try to stay in one piece. Good luck

Hammers it for 2 hours and goes back to the grinder ... You could have done it all with the grinder and saved us all some time.

did you not notice the fact that the lawn mower blade was curved? he could not have made this knife with just a grinder because it would be all bent out of shape.

Great video awesome effort 👍👍👍I have 3- Old Blades I’m thinking of doing the same thing because I watch that program on TV -forged in fire- so that got me going - how about you 🤔

Ruined the mower blade temper in the fire, for a job that could be CAREFULLY DONE w/ the angle grinder...riiiight. The gut hook is just a way to hurt yourself, IMO. Learn how to skin!

You have to have a forge to heat the blade to get it hardened I make knives from these blades

I don’t see any issue with the heat treat and temper. Also doing it with an angle grinder is just boring

To make the fan work, if you had changed the temperature sensor for a lower temp, then it would come on at a lower temperature??
