Hammers it for 2 hours and goes back to the grinder ... You could have done it all with the grinder and saved us all some time.

did you not notice the fact that the lawn mower blade was curved? he could not have made this knife with just a grinder because it would be all bent out of shape.

Ruined the mower blade temper in the fire, for a job that could be CAREFULLY DONE w/ the angle grinder...riiiight. The gut hook is just a way to hurt yourself, IMO. Learn how to skin!

You have to have a forge to heat the blade to get it hardened I make knives from these blades

I don’t see any issue with the heat treat and temper. Also doing it with an angle grinder is just boring
