Nice demo, they say we need 60 deg wire, but I think it depends on how much you are going to bend so that you have support.

Jonas is a great asset to California bonsai. However, i just can't understand the obsession with black pines. So tired of seeing people fawning over this species. 90% of his examples were black pines. Come on people there's literally tons of conifers to choose instead of black pine.

It isn’t clear whether the seaweed extract is applied as a soil drench or applied directly to the cut site. Can you say which?

I completely agree. When I think of home it’s a grass field with some old oaks scattered perfectly across the rolling hills

Although, I will not carve the live part, only the naturally dead branches, it seems awful to make the tree suffer by carving the live trunk.

I live in Northern VA. How do I winter care a Myrtle? Leave outside? Bring them inside by a southern facing window?
