im not even halfway through this, but man this needs more views. i got into the game a few months ago but stopped due to a busy schedule. i was dissapointed to see a lock of content that wasnt a roblox game with the same name. i recently have been itching to play for a few days and while reinstalling am looking for videos on the game, and stumbled upon this. good work dude

honestly most of the lore that u didnt know its explained later... u just need to keep playing to understand it cuz the game was made not for u to rush the main history, but to complete regions and get gold weapons, better equipments and relics etc.. so yeah.. plus after u end the first world u will understand why this ppl hooked a lot of ppl.. the first world (aesperia) where you are at is a beta version lauched in a rush cuz developers didnt had the money to make the beta properly so they launched the game like that to get the funds to keep it alive.. thats why theres a massive quality increase in 2nd world and game right now on 3rd world is just incredible.. theres plenty of things to do.. the fight is hard as hell.. not as main history... wich is really easy for everyone to get it done.. im kinda a medium whale on the NA game so if u like i can help u explaining to u most of it.. lore included...ill like u to understand and see the bright side of the game we are enjoying right now.. addme ingame Choris1717 - same in discord

No one ever pays attention to its story. The company who made this has very poor storytelling abilities and they seriously lack consistency and finesse in terms of making a solid game. In other words a lot of stuff in this game is very...scuffed. That being said, the combat is still enjoyable and quite flexible in terms of element and weapon choice, hence i still play it. But yeah, they suck at story telling and the animations are meh. FYI im 100% F2P not paying a single cent. And ive played since day one. Im fairly strong now so i dont see any actual point paying for a rather scuffed game lol I mean id be willing to cash out for stuff for high quality games like genshin but not tof

I have no problems if I don't spend money on these Gacha games. Entirely free to play on every one of them. The best feeling is when you are defeating content even if you did not spend a dime. It is like you are making them lose money because you consume server power from them for free :D

As day one player game is mid

Most people don't play this game for it's story. Most people play because the combat is fun, graphics are great (they get even better), and the multiplayer community. You'll start to find other players when you reach the end of the story.

I fucking hated this game. It felt so underdeveloped and janky in every way.

I can assure you there is a lot to discover that may or may not please you if you keep playing. ToF is a game that changes a lot from main patch to main patch, the content of version 1.x, version 2.x and version 3.x are so different it's almost like a completely different games....with the same combat system ;p That said, I know that gacha games are not for everyone, and ToF's META forces players to choose a single element and skip all other 3, which means you only pull for a fixed character every 4 patches (2 months) depending on the element you choose, and that can be frustrating if you, like most people, want to get them all.

I have just recently reached the end of Tower of Fantasy's main story that was released so far and the latest crazy world of Domain 9. I was pleasantly impressed with how much the world is out there after the first island region that my main character started from. I have no regrets and now this game got me deeply invested too.

After experiencing all the regions after Aesperia from Vera to Innars underwater region to Domain 9, this ToF game already became the second open-world game that got me hooked in the long-term after Genshin Impact. There was so so so much content for me to experience and digest after leaving the first island shelter of Aesperia. I went from the oldest maps to the newest latest maps of Tower of Fantasy while getting through the main story and it gave me an overall good feeling about this game.

It's understandable that you think the story is uninteresting, it's just kinda there for lore-building. For obligatory reasons. There's parts where it looks really unpolished, especially custscene animations. Your character's height also got shrinked to the default height (the shortest one) in cutscenes because they don't make a dynamic rigging animation that fits each available height. The combat mechanism and vast variety of weapon types make up for it I guess. The earlier starter weapons looks simplistic but once you acquired like the newer SSR Limited Characters, you'd be impressed by how much better it looks. But then how do they get people hooked on the game and get those latter units if it doesn't give a remarkable first impression, right. The dev planned a reboot some time in the future maybe because they know it fails to make that good first impression. They still earn six-figures revenue monthly for now but it doesn't looks good since the oldest game available by HoYoverse (Honkai Impact 3rd) which released back in late 2017 still making 7 figures now. That game isn't even open-world.

OK, you've tried ToF, so maybe it's worth trying Genshin, what do you think?

Don't worry even original story is piece of sh.t when you think a bit deeper.

All that you've experienced is from the old 1.0 version part of the game. Shortly 18-20 minutes into the main story quests, you can quickly go into Vera. For newer content, the Tower of Fantasy game picks up much better when the main story quests travel you to Vera. At the point where the main story quests took me to Mirroria City, Innars Grand Sea, and Domain 9, the open-world setting and experience got much more incredible for me. I am glad I have given this game a chance to play through all the main story quests and see all the different world maps along the way.

Wow…ok that was terrible, So not only does the game have the basic “loner predation” tactic of throwing every archetypal “waifu” at the player in hopes they pick em for “best girl” levels of dedication. The shop is just…the standard loot box mechanic with several different currencies that no doubt they’ll milk ya for. BUT…The game isn’t even built properly, I saw constant graphic fade outs, the text isn’t aligned with the VA’s script AND some cutscenes lacked essential audio to give them any weight. Dios Mios, screw this mess XD Gacha games will never make sense to me… Good video my dude 🔥🔥

Fallout, halo, Witcher, My excitement for the bioshock movie has gone down.

I mean….On one hand I wanna see Amazon screw up another IP to further cement that they can’t make anything good without outside help…on the other hand I want them to do well because despite me not being into fallout, I wouldn’t wanna see one of my own IP’s that I follow be butchered, if fallout fans get an amazing series from the Bezos Overlord then tbh, I can only be happy for them…But screw it, win win for me either way XD

Invincible is doing the same, Solid-ish first season, 2nd season is dragging, preachy, infuriating, contrived and boring. I am guessing that she needs to get a water purifier for the Vault, the guy with one eye (mutation) and the Guy and Girl who go nuts probably from Rad sickness. This feels like a parody of Fallout , especially considering the Fallout world is super harsh and unforgiving, this trailer makes it look goofy and has an Orville quality.

For me, I am firmly in the cautious optimism camp, I want it to be good. It’s down to the writers/production team and their respect for the IP and lore
