I agree with the influence comment, cause obviously it’s the same company and team, it looks and feels beautiful, simply sticking with what they know works…but hearing you talk about it with Tang and Karn, I’m convinced comparing something to Dark Souls is the new “It’s like Minecraft” trend we saw back in 2013

Everything is either darksouls or not darksouls in this modern era.. if it has a roll button and a sword its darksouls! if you want Shooty Darksouls Remnant is a far better game for fitting that description. darksouls is just the only hard game people know of so everything slightly difficult is Darksouls. Its like everyone calling every 3d game with puzzles portal.. i'm old enough that I called portal 'myst with portals'

There's a literal giant with a huge fucking sword in this game and I've been stuck on him for the last four hours trying to switch up builds furiously. AC frustrates me but in a way entirely different to this. Get the fucking souls out of my goddamn Armored Core. I am so mad.

hey dude I just wanted to make a small correction about the repair kits. while most of your points still stand on it, you CANNOT use them while firing weapons. this becomes very noticable when you are using weapons with a high rate of sustained fire. most single shot or semiautomatic weapons tho don't really make it noticable

With Souls fan logic even Final Fantasy 16 is a souls like, since it akso has a posture system and bosses are the main focus of the game.
