Trade ships were also a first priority. Again, there's no wrong way if you succeed, but it's like wanting to drive the car, but having to be a passenger 😂 Now I want to boot up the game again. I know what you mean! If you beat the game, there isn't much reason to keep playing because every playthrough is basically the same. Last year, I played this game for the first time in years. I was actually thrilled to play it again. This time, I basically only played it for the channel because I'm still good from last year myself! What would you've wanted to be added to the game? I'm a sucker for storylines and campaigns myself. There's this event during which injured soldiers ask for landing permissions. That alone could've been enough to spin a story around: there's a space war raging, and you're building outposts ever closer to the frontline to ensure transport of goods and treatment of the injured. The intruders could be enemy soldiers or operatives. But hey, the dev's followup game Dawn of Man was awesome as well! It's just unfortunate that they gave up on city building games afterward! :(

Well, you answered the question yourself already! When I played the game when it was originally released, one of the two knights you start with betrayed me. I don't remember which one, though. If you watch my playthrough of the DLC, you'll notice that three knights are missing from the roster. I'm guessing that those are the knights that were able to betray you during the main campaign!

I don't know of any roadmap for the game yet! There's obviously at least one more biome coming since the main baddy is located in some frozen northern area. The game's a little bit too easy right now, in my opinion. In the prequel, different areas lacked different resources, and you had to keep in mind what to stock up before going there. For example, the mountain biome was lacking food. In Airborne Empire, there's no such thing yet. All three biomes have an abundance of everything. The only threat is resulting from pirate attacks and their bases. Other than that, it's already a very nice game! :)

@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone yeah it's maybe a mod I had seen. But a bit confusing because I had watched a lot of changes ever since the game was new in about 2011 or 2012. It can be colonial charter😊

Yeah, it looks quite good for an 18 years old game! :D Yes, I bought the game on GOG. I paid only a little bit over 5 € during a sale and got both main game and DLC. The game's max resolution is 1920x1080, though! I had to upscale it to 2560x1440 during recording.

Well, I guess wells still refill once a year during the rainy season. I didn't have any more problems with them after figuring this out! Maybe they just felt that seven knights would be too many, and therefore, they just chose three of them to be in the DLC. I could also imagine that the missing ones are those that would've been able to betray you during the main campaign!

@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone to me, they're just plain dingdongs and i hate micromanaging. One case is that i have 20 free residential slot, not seniors or childrens, and 20 work slots on a research only done that i build above a research site that's relatively far away from my main area I set up shuttles, filter both domes and not a single scientists moved from the main dome onto the research dome. I also set the first dome to not accept scientists. It said "No shuttles avaiable" while the fact that there's 12 idle shuttles that I've set to passengers only. I fed electricity and fuel, maintenance is good so what am i doing wrong?

Haha, you're absolutely right! This was my first time playing the game! And furthermore, I drank some beer while playing it! This video's from way back when I didn't take the KZbin thing seriously. But the video got half a million views, which is incredible for a small channel with only 8000 subscribers, isn't it? I replayed the game later on and recorded an amazing playthrough. I explored all biomes, I found all blueprints, secrets, notes, I scanned literally everything. And on top of that, I played the full game on hardcore mode! It's been 11 years since Banished was released. Unfortunately, we never got a sequel! Yeah, that's why I build neither quarries nor mines. I get my stone and iron solely through trade! :D

@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone I noticed the lack of weather effects and sent many kudos your way. This playthrough was less efficient than last time. Previously you built up the marketplace squares and all the surrounding buildings. You then copy/pasted the design over and over. This time you didn't build the marketplaces as soon, and I think it diminished the overall productivity of your Bannies. And very unlucky trading posts not bringing stone soon enough! Still, a great playthrough and a great game
