to me, they look ugly. Wearing a tent and having bad skin on your tripple chin is not attractive. These people don`t get old, have a lot of health problems and cost the healthcare system a lot of money. All that fat is squishing the organs, heart, liver.... I eat in the companies cantina, the portions are large. So I bring my tubberware container, divide the food in half and take 1/2 home for dinner. My BMI is 23, I walk 2km after lunch around the block and go to the gym.

I have been battling extra weight since I turned 20 and at 60 I can tell you it is very hard to lose weight especially if you have a slow metabolism and you seem to gain weight easier than other people! After I turned 24 and got out of the Army, I stopped doing PT and also, I started college if you ever went to college, you know that eating small portions of nutritional food is almost impossible. With that said I gained a ton of weight and at 28 I weighed 315 lbs and i am 5'10" so my BMI was too high so i decided to lose weight not just because I felt disgusting with my body but also because I knew the risk of being obese and in 6 months after joining the gym I lost 105 lbs busting my butt doing 2 hours cardio a day and eating more vegetables and less greasy food! So, the key to lose weight is not rocket science! Actually, it's very easy, less unhealthy food and more exercise! I know is hard but it can be done!

my husband and I eat family style, so if the portions are like these shown here, we will share a meal rather than get one each. When our children were all teenagers, we would order the larger steaks and use t with extra sides to feed the whole 6 person family. There is no way we could each eat a full meal at these restaurants. That’s crazy.

Thank you for covering furries in such a positive way! I just wanted to add that not all furries wear a fursuit, or even want to wear one. I’m a full on furry and have been since 1993 when I stumbled into the fandom and immediately felt like I was in the right place. I also have many furry friends that also do not have fursuits, nor care to have one. We all think they are adorable and love seeing everyone’s style, but it’s just not for us. Furry is more of a feeling for us, more like just getting in tune with your spirit animal in a way. I think a lot of what I feel is because I grew up in the 80’s glued to the TV watching cartoons. I just really enjoy keeping in touch with that fantasy world and playful imagination that I had as a child. On a side note, furries are generally extremely nice, welcoming and supportive folks. I don’t know where I’d be today if I didn’t find the fandom so long ago. My furry friends and acquaintances are fully responsible for helping me get my foot in the door to start my long and successful career in the tech industry. It’s also how I met my now husband, almost exactly 30years ago to this day. 🐾🐾❤

This documentary is really sad, as I wonder how well some of these Americans are now. We have a serious obesity problem here in the U.K, with the numbers and ever increasing BMI causing a serious challenge to the NHS. I can only think that there has to be a complete ignorance or denial about the terrible health consequences and huge difficulties in treating patients. Diagnostics are very challenging or sometimes impossible, even cannulation is difficult, surgery is very risky and a successful resuscitation post arrest would be greatly reduced. We have introduced healthy food education into schools now, as I see in the US a total slack of education about daily needs and portion sizes. That group of friends all gathered around for a braai, who are all grossly overweight might be representative of a Texan, but they are just eating themselves into an early grave. It’s truly ironic that there are so many countries around the world where for various reasons the population are starving, which makes Bud’s 5000 calorie burgher challenge pretty insensitive.

Came back to rewatch this video 2 years later. And guess what. The obesity issue in America has only gotten worse. U think after all these shows have came out. Like my 600 lb life And all the free information on the internet U think when someone gains their first 25-50 lbs or has to start buying whole new wardrobes cause of that weight gain they would do something about it. And when they say oh I love me I love who I am that's great just like I said in my last comment 2 years ago But do u think it's fair to tax payers to pay the bill for all your health care needs or being on disability and the tons and tons of food I eat that could honestly feed family's of 3-4 or even 5. People ??? Or put the burden of taking care of you on your family. ?? I don't believe it is. Now someone who has medical issues at no fault of their own is a different situation totally And the lady in this video who was talking about being beautiful and happy and all that. That's awesome she stays positive. Just hope she knows for a fact she will die 5-20 years early from her eating habits

I am surprised that so many people are still able to eat so big meals there. Here in Germany, more and more people are suffering from leaky gut syndrome. I am also affected by it and am allergic and intolerant to so many foods and have to avoid them completely, even those which are healthy.

People who get to be 300,400 500+ pounds don't get to be that large because they are happy! Anyone saying that they are are simply lying to themselves.
