Is liberation theology prominence in South America a reaction to the Mexican revolution? In the Mexican revolution the Catholic Church was seen as an enemy of the revolution and outlawed. Granted a number of priest entering the clergy were liberally minded. The religion and the ruling class has always been subverted by the state and becoming an appendage of the state with the elite entering and dominating the priesthood. The Mexican revolution resulting in the elite turning away from the clergy.

This video is not true at all, his opinion doesn't make it fact. Under a democracy, the people do elect representatives but vote directly on laws that effects the minority without representation or a voice by majority rule, a constitutional republic elects representation but the representatives vote for laws by representing the majority but the minority still have rights guaranteed by a constitution or contract. A democracy can easily transition into a dictatorship by vote of the majority, whereas a republic cannot because of the separation of powers enshrined in the constitution or contract limiting the powers of each branch.

Actually the wedding at Cana kind of says it was his wedding as it quotes him doing the grooms family’s duties of providing the wine. It didn’t have to say it cuz that should have said it right there. Hello, I’m the modern day Holy Grail descendant from the family that fled to france after the crucifixion, and I probably wouldn’t be here otherwise. Geneaology proof is up. We are plantagenet. Our fam comes from that region in france Magdalene fled to after the crucifixion and if he had gotten pregnant between the wedding at cana and arriving in france, its very plausible. I also ran across a document regarding additional possible proof. It wasn’t widely circulated. The churches jacked our ways and started their own thang. As a young miracle producer it threw the family for a loop cuz they hadn’t seen one in generations my gramps said, who then did painstaking research to try to learn what it meant for us, recover lost knowledge… generations of leading secular lives knowledge wasn’t passed down and was lost. Eventually as a kid I got tested for some religious/spiritual titles. I currently the hold the Holy Grail title by descendancy but the Miracle peoducing title by having passed some tests including “walking on water” as a child (well I more stood atop it briefly… it was the hardest one tbh, took lots of practice). By age 9-12ish I had earned titles and was getting the lecture about how being a religious figure/leader was a big responsibility. Sadly people did not save us in time and gramps and the rest of fam are gone now. I myself in only my 40’s may not have long. Others may have had not good intentions for us. I wasn’t allowed or able to marry, have children, so no heir and my line is gone when I am as well as lots of ancient wisdom and recovered knowledge impoetant to human history that took decades to researh and relearn, but that the world didn’t seem to want in time. I spent most of my life injured/trapped indoors not having a life at all so most of my life, save for research, was wasted when I could have been out there performing miracles and helping people have better lived without org cr… seems no one wanted that sadly. Humans still fail to see what is possible thru God… anything. So instead of starting a church and helping the masses, I ended up having to throw many souls into the lake of fire and some curses. I was left to suffer for decades. I had the worst life. Not treated well as child. Plans allegedly made on me & fam. Kept from a career despite being a talented dancer and musician and minister, historian… & miracle worker. My body is now largely destroyed. I used to be pretty. I survived 3rd degree burns in a coma and came back to life after going into the Light. I had to watch many “not make it.” My life wasn’t a happy one. No one could just let me live my life despite proper protocol for religious/spiritual figures, meanig hands off and you cannot even touch them. Humanity has a loooong way to go before it can receive the real gifts from God he had hoped you were all ready for. May have missed their last chance. God bless any true believers out there and those who heloed further research in this area though… sadly it was all for nothing. Humanity is still too stuck in its ways to grow and be open to new ideas and better ways.

There is no balance or gray area. You're confused. You're either assimilated or you're not. If you are integrated, you are not actually the nationality of the nation in which you are living in. You are an imposter, an intruder, a poser, inauthentic, a trespasser. Just leave, real nationists are not happy that you are here.

The United States is and has always been a constitutional federal republic not a democracy. And because of that it functions as a fascist oligarchy now that its main objective is military and money market rule. It’s not about or for the people in any sense. It is setup for the elite to rule. For the few to control the many.
@Lilhomiecooscoos23 күн бұрын
But what you are describing are forms of government in practice. China can be called a republic because it function at times like a republic and can also be a dictatorship. The same is for the United States which on a basic level functions like democracy on a city and town. But on a federal level functions as an kleptocracy or oligarchy. Which all fall under a republic. It’s misleading to not include the different type because it’s fluid and movies. No government stays the same in those functions.

THINK ABOUT IT!!!! U.S. senators receive a number of benefits from the government, including: Retirement benefits: Senators are covered by the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) or Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS). They are fully vested after five years of service. Senators with at least five years of service may be eligible for a pension that pays two to three times more than pensions offered to similarly-salaried workers in the private sector.

*No way* . No such thing as "Free". I know it sounds fair and just but it really messes things up. First off, someone has to pay for it. Guess who? (Tax payers). That means a government entity maintaing budgets and schedules of who can be seen and treated. (We know how efficient government workers are). Basically its Socialistic health care, which btw have notoriously long waits. So instead of medical professionals, you get a bureaucracy. A panel of mid level government workers with no medical background that get to decide if you get treated or not. That's after your long wait cutting thru the red tape Then it comes down to the doctors. Doctors who fyi you dont get to choose from. Remember how people used to get that second opinion? Yeah, that's out the window. When all is said and done. You get sub par treatment and possibly kore problems down the line if theres ever any complications

Republic Form of government, form of government legitimized by the people Article The title of this article is ambiguous. Other meanings are listed under Republic (definition). A republic (from Latin res publica, literally "public matter", "public affair"; usually in the meaning of community, state; also free state[1]) is a collective term for all non-monarchical forms of government. ??????? [2] In most cases, the people of a republic have the highest power and are the highest source of state legitimacy.[3] Exceptions are the dictatorship and the aristocratic republic. The term republic is often used without there being a clear definition. Table of contents Terminology Edit Historically, there are three definitions of the word republic, some of which overlap or complement each other: a state in which power is exercised by temporary elected offices. The antonym is monarchy. In this sense, both aristocracies and democracies can be republics. a state that is oriented towards the common good. The antonym is despotism. States with popular sovereignty in which the participation of citizens is considered necessary. A liberal conception of the state that limits itself to securing basic rights is considered deficient in a republicanism understood in this way. Antonyms to this are both monarchy and aristocracy.[4]

Prioritizing honor and duty, is fine, if you understand what honor and duty are. Idiots think, that honor can be gained only in combat, so this leads to something like Sparta. Honor is earned respect. You can gain respect, in countless ways, outside of war. Idiots think, that duty is some kind of external, forced burden, because they have no idea, what I. Kant wrote about it. Duty is systematic discipline.

When their argument is for the self rather than values outside of the self, you should know not to indulge! As a mother of a girl and a boy, I am all for uniforms. My children can express themselves outside of school, that's no problem for me. The pros of uniforms certainly outweigh the cons and pros of 'self-expression'.

The voiceover says neoliberalism relies on “Ideas that are over 100 years older” than the 1980s. I think they can be traced back to Adam Smith’s thought experiments published in 1776. That’s over twice as old - and following that approach, we’d be equally accurate to say “Ideas from as long ago as yesterday.”
