Wow! Amazing! God bless you and Éri Péter shall live forever! And amazing, you even made me understand the old Hungarian meaning through your language!

DAC is such an interesting guy. He really reflects all of humanity, the good, the bad, the crazy, the sad, the tender, just about all the human experience.

Grandpa I've been thinking about you lately Wondering if you'd found your peace of mind I guess you'd be proud to know your grandsons Never crossed that Mason Dixon line And I still sing the old songs that you taught me And I still pray to Jesus now and then And just like you I wish that he would save me To see the day the south will rise again Daddy wore his Purple Heart so proudly Long before I turned into a man Buried with our flag across his casket I was still too young to understand And I still sing the old songs that you taught me And I still pray to Jesus now and then And just like you I wish that he would save me To see the day the south will rise again Mama spent her last years in the garden While I took my turn behind a gun Lord I'd give my life to find the freedom lost within the old songs that you sung And I still sing the old songs that you taught me And I still pray to Jesus now and then And just like you I wish that he would save me To see the day the south will rise again

I miss my grandpa so much. We’re immigrants from Mexico, and everytime my dad would ask him if he’d like to come see the US, he’d say “for what? I’m living here just fine”. My grandma died before him, and I could tell in his eyes he wanted to go too. Grandpa I remember the cornfields, the cows you were so proud of and that old .22 you kept by your side that wouldn’t even shoot. I’d give anything to kiss his hand once again, and have the opportunity to let him know he is my hero. Man, I’d walk up to him and he’d say “no no, your grandma first”. Shirt always tucked in, belt buckle clean, and a worn ass straw hat. Blonde blue eyed devil they called him, tough as nails living in Jalisco, but he was nothing but a sweetheart to me and my brothers. We would go to his and his brothers farm and roll in mud, my mom would get mad at us for staying our clothes and grandpa would always say, “let them, they’re just dumb boys”. Grandma would pick fresh alfalfa from their fields and make us water. I always hated black beans, but the last time I saw them old folks together I ate them and smiled (and sort of gagged) my grandpa with a huge smile would take a spoonful, than a bite of my grandmas homemade tortillas and look at me and laugh. Grandpa, I still think about you. I could have a million dollars, but there’s nothing that can make me feel as good as the 10 pesos you used to give me.
