I’ve literally seen and heard some Filipinas who were you skin tone, which is literally very light tan to white, call herself “dark” and said she only wanted to date white and also said clearly “I hope you don’t dislike my dark skin” while being literally as white as the girl in the video. It’s really ridiculous what Asian consider to be dark and how they think about dark skin like it’s not also beautiful.
