I'm confident 100%. They all are Juve players, and as such they're supposed to deliver every time they're called on. I really like Motta's philosophy of giving playing time to the entire roster.

I'm ok with Perin. Have concerns with Rouhi, Danilo capitano, Fagioli, and McKennie but these players need playing time. The midfield is a bit weak with McKennie and Fagioli. Surprised that Douglas Luiz is not in the starting line-up. I was expecting him to play the whole 90 minutes. I was also expecting Cabal and Thuram to be in the first 11. I trust Motta, but he is taking huge risks, which has cost us points to lose. Again, we're playing against Genoa and on paper we should win easily but in football, you'll never know. I wish Fagioli a good game as he needs to regain his past good performances fast. I hope that Motta will surprise us tomorrow with a very good win and many goals.

After signing Koop and watching Luiz play for the little that he did. This was a mistake. Luiz looks a bit slow, holds onto the ball for waayyyy to long. Doesn’t seem to fit in at least right now. In Hines sight, definitely should of signed Caladiori over Luiz. However, hopefully with the season going on and the amount of games played, he will get better and get used to Italian football.

You hit the nail on the head with this one. Very concerning Juve basically crawled back to McKennie after presumably realizing Luiz isn’t as good as advertised. But at least he brought along his fit bird to Turin- still mad 😡 about the miss on Calafiori.

I get the feeling a little that he doesn’t care much one way or the other. Just based on expressions and the way he carries himself. I believe he thought playing for juve and serie-a is a walk in the park … i think he has good skills and can be useful but he needs to keep it simple and focus.. at least now he knows he has competition and can be benched, hopefully he has the right mentality to step up and claim his spot

I watched Bayern Munich defeat Dinamo Zagreb last week. I was really impressed by the aggression and controlled chaos Bayern’s front line showed. From the little I’ve seen of him, I believe Conceicao will bring a similar attack mentality to Juve. However, I will be curious to see whether he can mesh with the more elegant playing styles of Yildiz and Vlahovic-can’t wait for Leipzig

For those who don't know, Conceicao was the best dribbler outside the top 5 leagues in all Europe, which includes the Dutch and Portugese leagues (Doku top dribbler in the top 5 leagues). We need midfielders to score. We need Koopemeiners to become more dangerous. We need Nico and Conceicao to become more dangerous. If they can do it, we don't need to change anything. We don't need to change anything, we just need more vertical passes in the final third and cutting between spaces. This is why they bought them. How do they do that? They need Vlahovic to pull and create those spaces. Unfortunately, Vlahovic is not dangerous enough himself, because teams are not afraid if him. Koop and Yildiz can make some crazy plays, Nico and Conceicao should dribble down the flanks and cut in and send some crosses. Goals will come, but those are all new dudes that need a bit more time. We don't need any big changes, we need people to start doing what they were supposed to.

On the other hand, the team shows a solid defense which is a very good feature of motta team

Try switching to 4-4-2, with Yildiz and DV9 up top. Koop-Loca-Thuram -Gonzalez in the middle. Use Loca in a more advanced position.

To counter your point about Allegri's third season and Motta's first season: Allegri never went three games in a row in Serie A without scoring. Not 1.0, not 2.0. If you'd like to compare, compare 2015-16, when the squad was revamped just like this season. We started badly by not getting results, however scoring was not an issue. Motta needs to use a different philosophy if he wants to be successful with this team.

We're just so slow. Not sure how much faster we can get with our defenders' lack of ball playing ability and our midfielders' lack of passing range. But we can't continue to have Yildiz operating from that deep, we run him ragged just defending and moving the ball into the final third , if this is our setup, move him to false 9 and have Mbangula carry the water

Man, napoli has chemistery and a very experienced coach, our squad isnt better based on their exprience alone. Inter looks all over the place? Based on what? 1 game? They are by far the strongest. I agree we need to create more and its fine but fagioli isnt a diff maker hes average on a good day, yes we can expect more but in a logical way not emotional, its a rebuild, always starts with the defence.

My No1 reason is that our backs are not good enough to help us going forward(like Di Marco does for example for Inter, or Dumfries) and thats the main issue imo plus i see no patterns of play in the final third, no overload on one side and diagonal passes to the other. Is it the football IQ of our players or lack of practice for scenarios like that?

All rebuilds start from the defence. Motta is doing the right thing. What’s the point of scoring 4 and conceding 3? He will address the striker department too. He is already eyeing Osimhen for next year. He needs time.
