I get the feeling a little that he doesn’t care much one way or the other. Just based on expressions and the way he carries himself. I hope I’m wrong and maybe he’s just so chill and laid back that it doesn’t bother him, but he seems like he’s as happy to sit the bench, play at half speed or rush the ball when needed…. Let’s hope he just needs this time to get up to speed and motivate himself to fight Thuram, Locatelli, McKennie, and Fagioli for one of the two cm spots.

You bought Luiz,and should use Douglas from the start,don't waste money if your not using your resources.Why is McKennie starting instead of him❓

I believe he thought playing for juve and serie-a is a walk in the park … i think he has good skills and can be useful but he needs to keep it simple and focus.. at least now he knows he has competition and can be benched, hopefully he has the right mentality to step up and claim his spot

You hit the nail on the head with this one. Very concerning Juve basically crawled back to McKennie after presumably realizing Luiz isn’t as good as advertised. But at least he brought along his fit bird to Turin- still mad 😡 about the miss on Calafiori.

I don't believe this is tactical. I am actually convinced that the management is trying to advertise McKennie a little bit more to make it easier to sell. If he can get a solid half season, he is gone to Premier league

I think Luis’s attitude in training is causing all this, he looks unmotivated !

After signing Koop and watching Luiz play for the little that he did. This was a mistake. Luiz looks a bit slow, holds onto the ball for waayyyy to long. Doesn’t seem to fit in at least right now. In Hines sight, definitely should of signed Caladiori over Luiz. However, hopefully with the season going on and the amount of games played, he will get better and get used to Italian football.

for me it's tactical, looking at the empoli game he didn't look in sync with the others,btw i think he will start vs genoa

It’s 100% tactical, and I feel like we bought Luiz as a panic purchase as a result of the Koopmeiners transfer saga. Koopmeiners does everything Luiz does but better imo. Playing them both together might be more tricky than people realize. Koop, Luiz, and Locateli are a midfield that has a lot of defensive holes imo. Locateli is part of the tactical problem bc Motta must give him cover in the form of McKinney / Thurham that won’t be there with Luiz / Koop.

@@SpirosLontoI agree they are different players but they do the same things (pass, free kicks, long shots, corners, etc). I don’t view Luiz as a true CDM, he’s more of a CAM than a true box to box player. Koop is a true box to box player that does everything Luiz does but better, that’s why Luiz can’t get on the field with this team. He isn’t a real CDM, he’s an attacking Midfielder that doesn’t defend much based on what I have seen from him. Luiz is an incomplete player though he has a lot of skill. McKinney isn’t a better player than Luiz but he is a much better CDM than Luiz.
