We’ll be there next week and I’m only eating local and look forward to supporting the community. It sounds like I probably need to carry cash?

Our taste buds are different...vastly different. I found Puka dogs to be disgusting: a salty Costco Polish dog smothered in sickeningly sweet tropical fruit sauces: once in my life was enough. Give Japanese Grandma's Cafe in Hanapepe a try for sincere home cooked food.

Means a lot to hear your heartfelt appreciation for these folks. This is what we want to know - the businesses we want to support on our visits. Thank you.

Mama’s BBQ in Napili has been our go to when in Napili for Beef Stew and Blueberry Tarts. Hope they are still thriving. Have not been to West Maui since the fires. PTSD. Maybe soon we can get courage. Miss your reviews, Mahalo for all you have done before the fires and since, we always have followed you. So many of our fave places are gone as Lahaina is gone. 😢😢😢 It will never be the same in our lifetime or ever sadly. Tragic.😢😢

Wife and I coming from Alaska for a week in Maui. Is there anything we can bring or do for you? The church here has prayed much for your people. We have wept over the deep loss of life and homes. 😢

I've been to Seoul as well, and it was awesome all around!!! I ate at Korean BBQs every night. 😋😋😋 I didn't have the pleasure to visit the animal cafes. That'll be my first place that I'll go to on my next visit.

Wow, I didn't know you had a KZbin channel, until I started surfing through my other channels here and there you were. You bet I subscribed and I'll be following you! Thanks so much for all that you've done and continue to do for Maui, especially Lahaina. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾❤❤❤ Haʻaheo nō wau iā ʻoe. ❤❤❤🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

My husband and I are coming to your island for the first time (staying in Ka’anapali). I came upon your videos just today, many were from before the fires. I am happy to hear you’re ok and my sincere condolences for the losses you and your community have suffered. We will do our best to support locals and be sensitive to their monumental loss when we are there this December for a few weeks. I’ve made a long list of your recommendations to look into (thanks for sharing). We will definitely bring the reef safe sunscreen too. ❤ Aloha ❤

Love your commentary and honesty. Maui is struggling after the fire. I am from Lahaina and I give so many props to those places that have reopened and opened anew. You are so supportive for these great eateries. Mahalo nui loa.🌺

I am here in Maui right now and I love supporting local businesses, but honestly the we just went to a food truck and they charged almost $30 for one meal. For that price I would have rather went to a sit down restaurant. Then we tried the Farmers Market and the prices there we so high it was a not even funny. We did buy an Apple Crumble at the restaurant next to it, $10 for the crumble and another $5 for banana bread was fine for me. I am not a cheap person but I am not going to just give my money away. I do pray and hope that the people were affect in Maui to find peace and my heart does go out to them. Respect does go a long way.
