Thank you for the tutorial. We need more women who are willing to come forward to normalize aging. I heard a restaurant staff person in a conversation saying she didn’t ever want to have wrinkles. There were at least two elderly women within earshot. I felt sad for her because considering her perceived salary the only way she’s getting out of “aging” is death. We really need to normalize aging. One of my life journeys exposed me to one of the most photogenic women I’ve ever seen, in Mexico. She was sitting on the curb. I was attracted to her beauty, wrinkles and all. It was then that I welcomed all that life has to give me, wrinkles and all. I didn’t photograph her, that’s National Geoghaphic’s job; but her image is present in my mind forever. I hope I live long enough and am healthy to sit on a curb, free to be me ❤ viva Mexico 🇲🇽

Do you mind me asking why you add darkness to the lightest areas?

@@vm3249 sometimes the light areas make the dark area look darker because of the contrast. Adding in a little dark can help even out the area and help diminish the appearance of darkness. I find I use less color correcting product on the darkness if I even out the lightness first. 🤗 I hope that makes sense. Don’t be afraid to try it!

@@Deborah-l4o hi Deborah! the color corrector takes the place of a concealer. When you use the correct shade to cancel the darkness you won’t need a traditional concealer. You can use one after if you felt you needed extra coverage 🤗
