Those of us in northern climates are desperate for tropical plants. Ones that bloom in the winter and have fragrant flowers are the best.

That's pretty cool. If an oak tree was placed in a certain condition, such as by a streetlight or in a greenhouse, then it wouldn't be necessarily the right time to plant corn when the leaves got to the size of a mouse's ear, right?

How would the changing color of light affect the plant? Would you turn it blue if you wanted a greenhouse plant to go dormant in winter, but still have light?

Dear Jeff, I’m sorry to hear of your health challenges. It seems to happen when we get on in years and if we are lucky we recover a bit and can enjoy a few more years with the ones we love. My dear husband has passed through this life to be with our creator and I am grateful to have spent some of my life with him. Your videos and your book have greatly impacted my life to the better and I can’t begin to thank you for helping me begin to live again. Thank you, so very much, for creating your excellent videos. Life is so very beautiful and you help us to see it. ❤

The time lapse videos are beautiful, but I am more interested in your informative videos about how to keep my plants healthy. Congratulations on being able to spend more time on things that you love to do. I love your videos and I hope you continue to enjoy creating them. I wish you all the best and thank you for helping to make my life better. ❤

I like the Timelapse videos, they are beautiful and it’s interesting to see how the plants move. Maybe you film fewer of them going forward, since they are so time intensive to make?
@agreenerview27 күн бұрын
Thank you. I like the idea of posting fewer of them, but having them teach something too.
@kidsrugg2412Ай бұрын
I really like the timelapse videos, but I think they could be even more interesting if you highlighted interesting details like you did in this video. You could either have narration inside the video itself or have a music video for the first 1-2 minutes and then have a replay with more commentary focusing on details. They're also great the way they are. And of course, spending more time with your grandkids is always a good idea ;)
@agreenerview27 күн бұрын
Thank you. I like the idea of combining the music video with an informational video. See you soon.

I personally think the time lapse videos are beautiful - and especially like the way you called out points of interest in them just now. I'd suggest that there would be value in them even if they were only for your enjoyment, so if you like seeing them, you should keep making them!

So much contradictions. Some people say it doesn't need much light some say it does. Ill test it for my self
@agreenerviewАй бұрын
You are correct. As I say in my book, the problem with plants is that they can't read. If they could, they would do what we say. I am glad you are going to test your ferns in your environmental conditions. Plants have a thrive range for each environmental condition and a survive range for that condition. We want plants to thrive but during a winter dormancy period we just want them to survive. I think you will enjoy learning more about these topics by watching the first two videos in the Chapter 2 Playlist titled Plants and the Environment right here on the Greener View channel. Thank you for your comment. Jeff

Wow, it’s really nice to see fruits coming on after the winter indoors. It’s so hard to sacrifice the little fruits when there are too many growing together. I think the tree appreciates it though, so that’s a consolation. Then the birds get nice big peaches instead of little bitty ones. It’s fun to see how it all works out. 😊

Like all other parts of the plant except the tubers, the fruit contains the toxic alkaloid solanine and are therefore unsuitable for consumption.
