Looks great. You need the diagonal wire to keep your post of leaning, bottom of end post to upper to inner post. The H horizontal piece can't keep the end post standing straight without the help of the diagonal wire.

I hope you read this comment 🤧 I didn’t add enough head space after I added the yeast. Should I pour some liquid out and add more yeast? Or is the project screwed and I have to start over

Even though I am a born and raised Californian, from doing my own research; I am very hopeful that the Texas Longhorns’ historically defensive nature against predators can be part of the solution to coexisting with wolves. I have a strong feeling from the light research I’ve done; that longhorns developed their horns and defensive behaviors, (like forming defensive circles around their calves with horns facing outwards), to defend against historic wolf packs and possibly grizzly bears that used to live on the plains and the south west with the legend of the Mexican grizzly bear.

I appreciate the fact that you presented your information in a concise way and you gave the pros and cons of doing things differently if our situation may be different. You gave us options but you spelled out the problems we might run into if we don't give enough spacing. Thank you for this. Also, your vineyard is beautiful. I wish I had this much space. But, I have room for one row about 80 feet long. I think that should product a lot of grapes for one family. God bless, Miles

Italians do not know how to market products well from my experience searching for wine/grape processing equipment. For a product not to include instructions or an owners manual is really lame from a marketing perspective. At least you had the patience to figure the wine filler out before chucking it against the wall. A call to More Wine may have helped. Thanks for the video. It was informative. What was your last bottle filler?

I agree with you about the spacing, I’ve always thought there should be plenty of room between the rows to get your equipment you’ll be using down between the rows. Interesting how many I have seen where the had their rows pretty tight together though. Hopefully they didn’t regret that later on?
@ghostridergale
@ghostridergale Жыл бұрын
Which direction do you recommend for running your rows? I have grapes now going north to south and they get sun all day long and often get cooked basically from too much hot sun. Yea I know I could put a shade cloth over them if I had to. But in my thinking process I would think running the rows east to west would be better where the sun would be moving down the rows thru the morning to evening. Not to mention the way my property laid out the rows would work better going east to west, north to south I have short rows and I think I rather have longer rows?

You don't need trial and error to work out that it only fills to the level of liquid in the reservoir IE the fill level in the bottle will be at the same level as the reservoir so adjust the tray and loosen the two black knobs on the adjustment bar to accommodate the bottle better

What's your opinion on Goblet / bush vine training, without irrigation, for organic hybrid varieties? I've seen videos talking about how the vines are low to the ground, and the soil stays warm into evening, giving grapes better flavor. I also read it's suitable for organic production and dry farming, plus no cost for posts or wires. Couple drawbacks is no machinery can be used and lower yield. What's your opinion?

Very nice. We are looking into starting a winery but the regulations here in Quebec are pretty crazy. We will have to basically have a building designed for wine production with a ton on regulations and we need to have a consultant and architect for every step of the construction ;( Not sure it's worth the effort and costs to be honest. So how do you produce the wine, do you ferment in one fermenter then rack to a conditioning tank or do you let age in the primary fermenter after removing the yeast cake? I can't help to notice that all your tanks are different sizes, so I am not sure how your process works ;) How long do you wait before bottling the products? Your bottler seems nice, you should do a bottling video at some point. We use a manual one that is a floor unit. It works very well but I don't think it would be viable in a commercial setting. It takes too long IMO. Your filler seems to only have 1 hose, I was thinking that a multi-bottle filler would be a must in a commercial setting, would love to see your process.
@tempecreekwine
@tempecreekwine Жыл бұрын
That does sound like a lot. We rack off Lee's and sediment by transferring into a bigger tank, then back into original tank. We have several other tanks not being used.
