Oh yeah sure Daddy, let’s not mangle the boy dog but it is okay all day long to mangle both of the girl dogs which is why we don’t have 5000 puppies running around right now. She asked, well how are you going to explain it to AB?!?! I said, welll, probably like I do everything else to her, just straight up explain what is going on, I have found that the more you try to make stuff up about these kinds of topics, or talk around them in a dumb way, the worse it actually is cause really it makes no sense. She actually said to herself, better get advice from Tara I don’t know why I am asking you?!?! 😳 🙄 Friday night is AB’s Ballet 🩰 performance and get the tissues ready, I can’t even handle the pictures I am getting leading up to this thing?!?! 😢 I haven’t heard what the story is either, it is a Christian Ballet 🩰 Company so the story will be from the Bible, which I know sounds all kinds of strange?!?! All of the performers are very, very modestly dressed, not that ballet 🩰 is all that risqué, but I guess some of it could be? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I gotta wear a dress which I am zero happy about, do I have dresses, yes, do I have shoes to go with them, also yes, do I like wearing them? Heck to the no way?!?! 😬 But here we all are?!?! Again?!?! 😬 Sunday is Mother’s Day, which is always interesting when the four Gens are together, last year AB was upset she was the only one in our group that wasn’t a mother? And announced she was gonna have 4 kids which honestly made me and Tara sweat 😅 just a little?!?! It made your woman Annie 🤡 laugh, she was like, I am still having great grandbabies at the same time as great great grandbabies, it is confusing, don’t come crying to me?!?! 😬 So then less than a week later is my birthday 🥳, I have always made it very clear that these are separate events so unless I am getting a big and huge combined big gift I expect separate gifts?!?! That kinda sorta sounds bad but listen you gotta state out loud your expectations or peeps will try to get by with stuff?!?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am quite certain I will have lots of stories to tell?!?! The good news is that I am sleeping in AB’s room and your woman Annie 🤡 is sleeping in the guest room with the dogs. A large reason these visits have had problems is that Annie 🤡 slept in the couch and never really had privacy. Now we both have privacy and AB is sleeping in her parents room on an air mattress. Tara said, I might stick her in the bed with Rafa and I will sleep on the air mattress. 😂 So if we are leaving in a few hours why am I awake at 4 am? 😬 Welllll, I was so sleepy at 10 pm but tried to stay awake until midnight but the next thing I know it is 3:45 am. 😬 Sooooo, I am writing this and then I am gonna try to sleep some more otherwise I will need to get us through the complicated driving parts until your woman Annie 🤡 is at the long stretch with zero decisions and can drive while I doze. 😬 I guess that is it?!?! Hello B ☘️…. Edit early Sunday morning almost 3 am: Wellllll…..first of all me and your woman Annie 🤡 are okay. Having said that you most likely won’t even know what has happened in Oklahoma tonight but it is bad. Not bad to us, sorry, but bad for SO many others. I am not sure yet how bad, we need daylight to tell the full picture but seeing the destruction on the news, it is quite serious. 😔 Your woman Annie 🤡 and I literally spent all day watching the weather, the spinners 🌪️ stayed up in Kansas, not exactly the most comforting situation because Evil Bro #2 😈 Mark’s kids live there but the bad stuff was north of them. Somewhere around 9 pm it all started to happen. We get word that Norman has a tornado 🌪️ and from the reports it was near my niece’s house. Your woman Annie 🤡 goes a little bit crazy, tries to call Bree, she doesn’t answer, I texted Bree and said, text your Nannie, I suspect you are in your cellar but I know you can get text messages and she is worried sick so text her! She answers me, yes ma’am! So she does and your woman 🤡 Annie said, I know she has that boy feller over there and that is why she didn’t answer the phone. I said, Annie, her boy feller is the least of the problems at the moment. She said, oh right, just saying. 🙄 So next we get word that a tornado 🌪️ is in the bigger clown 🤡 town that has the Walmart I always talk about? Right after that we get word that the smaller clown 🤡 town that is 10 miles away has a tornado 🌪️ on the ground and cars/semi trucks are flipped over on the highway. Beyond that we don’t know much, the storm chasers got it wrong, they were around the Oklahoma City area when they were told to head south ASAP and mainly what we got from them was the destruction in a town called Sulphur after. I saw a tree turned upside down on a two story house. Cars flipped over. A convenient store just gone. Then your woman Annie 🤡 saw on Facebook that the grocery store in the small clown 🤡 town was hit. I am not sure how true this is yet, again daylight is needed, but your woman Annie’s 🤡 best friend Margaret is in the hospital and the hospital is kinda across the street to the north and up a little hill. The nursing home is right next to the grocery store. Needless to say I just got your woman Annie 🤡 to bed, she was very worked up and agitated. I told her, look Mom there is absolutely nothing we can do, we have had a shelter in place order, it is still storming, we need daylight and we need to hear from people in town. I think the bad stuff is over, it is going to storm for a bit and rain but that is all. I will be awake and watching it so please go to bed so you can call people tomorrow while I sleep. Don’t worry about going to church, if the town got hit that badly I really don’t want you out and about anyway with downed power lines and everything. So just try to get some sleep and in just a few hours we will have answers. 😔 So she went to bed and I am awake monitoring it all. It is a slow moving storm system that is covering a large southern part of the state and in the direction it is moving it takes awhile to be totally clear of the storm. I can still hear thunder now but no spinners 🌪️ thank goodness. I will be up until this moves through or around 5 am, whichever comes first. We still have power, so far anyway, which is a miracle honestly? I just wanted to let you know, in case you heard something, that we are okay? And I don’t expect that to change, at least this go around. Spring in Oklahoma, what can I say? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Edit #2 early Sunday morning 4:09 am: The first pics are coming in on FB. In the little clown 🤡 town , it is actually called Marietta, OK, the Dollar General and Homeland (grocery store) sit next to each other and they are destroyed. Dollar General just looks like a pile of metal, totally flat. There is some structure to Homeland left but it is gutted, twisted up and just destroyed. The nursing home next to it has damage but all patients are okay, just scraped up. Haven’t heard about the hospital. The Valero convenience store and truck stop across the street shows 2 semi trucks flipped over and stacked on top of each other, the top one bent between the cab and back, with the cab facing down. I haven’t seen a pic of the convenience store itself yet. And still no word on any casualties. It is bad, really bad. I have seen it before but it has been awhile. 😢 I will edit this again when I know more and if you haven’t seen it yet. 😔 On with the original message from the other day…. Post Malone, and I am announcing it is an official crush. I am not sure that this particular crush will last long, probably not, but that video is stunning. And Taylor’s and Post’s voices blend beautifully. I think I mentioned in the Pink Full Moon comment that I like Post Malone but this is a new level. Your woman Annie 🤡 and I had to go back to clown 🤡 town today, she didn’t wait and pick up her medicine the other day so we had to go early, they close at 1130 AM, and her eye doctor appointment wasn’t until 1:45 pm. Now this doesn’t sound like a big deal and it wouldn’t be if this was in a bigger place with more interesting places to waste time, places that we haven’t been to 1 million times in the last 5 years?!?! 😬 We went to get cookies, we went to the library, we went to Ollie’s (uhhh, yeah you might not know about that one but I did get this cute book called “Cats that wear hats” or something like that but they came with a little poem too about each cat and it was adorable. I am going to take it apart and junk journal with it, well unless AB sees it and borrows it forever?!?!) We went to Goodwill, we had the oil changed in the car and by this time I told your woman Annie 🤡 that she could go to the doc at 1 pm, early for her appointment. I go to, you guessed it, Walmart….why we still needed some things after being there Tuesday I haven’t a clue but here we all are?!?! 😬 I go back to the doc office and thank the goodness they moved her through her appointment fairly quickly. I had to go in Walgreen’s to get her eye drops and eye wipes, we got a sweet tea, got a pizza 🍕 and came home. I walked the dogs, we ate and I took a nap. Which was a mistake but there was no stopping it, I literally could not hold my eyes open another second. 😬 I got up about 8 pm, had another slice of pizza 🍕, texted with Tara for a little bit, texted with the bros for a little bit, your woman Annie 🤡 went to bed and I have been trying to get sleepy ever since? 😬 I am not sleepy, I have been uneasy all day, there was a possibility for storms Friday but much more of a possibility today, Saturday. It felt stormy, ⛈️ Do you feel storms? There is just a certain way it feels here, the air is heavy but charged, there is a weird heat to the day but heavy with moisture, in spite of it only being 77 degrees.
