I have never heard this song before but found this version so full and bouncy. Hard to believe just voices. I looked up the original version of this Pentatonix cover of The Weekend and as you would suspect, I prefer this version. You do very well with connecting and being everyone's best of buddies

Speaking of a goofy Barry Babe, one of my favorite things to do for a mental health day is spend hours in the kitchen, crank up old tunes, dance about whist baking up a storm. This medley may be perfect for a baking day, A day of chilling, not being concerned with the daily things of life and enjoy just a bit of fun time. Wait that ain’t food, ummm. 🤔 Butter beans?!?! 🤔 Yeah, enough of that total and complete nonsense?!?! 😑 Have I told you I dropped my AC out of my window?!?! 🤔 I mean my memory ain’t all that great to begin with but since my fall I would say it is worse? Anywho, it is so quiet and so cool with the window open and the fresh breeze coming in?!?! Wellllll, except for allergies, 🤧, do you have allergies?!?! Have we discussed this before?!?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Well. I went to the pain management doc yesterday and thank the goodness….They gave me a strong anti-inflammatory and a muscle relaxer. My goodness the difference in my head and my neck is startling?!?! I mean you know you are hurting after something like that fall and I did realize I should have gone to the ER and all of that nonsense but you try to just get through it except there was no getting through it, it had been a week when I called the doc and I was not significantly better during that time. Cringe 😬 They are getting insurance approval for injections so I gotta go through that again?!!?! Which ain’t all that fun to be honest but if it makes everything better without taking these muscle relaxers which make me so out of it, there is no way I could drive so I am strategically taking them when I foe sure know I will not need to take your woman Annie 🤡 anywhere, which is kinda sorta silly, I mean how do you ever predict something like that?!?! 🤔 So I sent the older Evil bros 😈 a text message, even though I am still giving the oldest one the silent treatment which he has not noticed at all 🙄, and told them that it appears like I will survive. I know them well, the oldest one proceeded to tell me what I needed to do (which I had already done) and the next oldest just said, that’s good. 🙄 Don’t be too happy about it or anything?!?! 🤔 Your woman Annie’s 🤡 birthday 🎂 is the 17th and I have no plans?!?! I kinda sorta got out of it by telling her we would celebrate it when Tara and AB are here for Thanksgiving 🦃 and then I texted Tara who has to be in control of everything, told her we were waiting to celebrate her birthday until they were here and she said, great, don’t worry about it, I will plan it all!!! Like I couldn’t have predicted that?!?! 🤔 So in the middle of all of the drama about the fall we managed to get my Dad’s nutcrackers out of the closet, they are currently all over the living room, I gotta take this slow cause I gotta get up in a ladder and between my head and neck hurting and these new meds a ladder 🪜 is not exactly the best idea 💡 I have ever had?!?! But I crawl up on it a couple of times a day to arrange these nutcrackers cause they drive your woman Annie 🤡 crazy, she calls it a mess in the living room 🙄 to which I said, lady, you will need to put up with this until I can be safe while on the ladder 🪜?! Cringe 😬 We are also waiting for Tara for the rest of the decorations, she might be a control freak but she gets stuff done at a speed that I am not interested in trying to obtain?!?! 😂 Plus the entire family is gathering for Thanksgiving, I am not sure what is happening, we did this over the summer, why are we doing it again so soon?!?! Perfect setting. Beautiful harmonies. I have heard this medley before but not nearly as beautifully, perfectly done. What can I say about the Pentatonix version? There are not enough adjectives... extraordinary, breathtaking, awe-inspiring, sensational. I am going to listen again and again. The more I hear Kirstin sing the more I love her voice. She is a real powerhouse and a beautiful woman. Amazing Grace has always seemed Celtic to my ear. Never more than when I attended a funeral on a foggy winter night outdoors and Amazing Grace was only an instrumental version played on bagpipes. Haunting. RR

A song that indeed needs to be sung with great joy and excitement. My second favorite Christmas song. My favorite is O, Holy Night. Avi Kaplan is a favorite of mine. I heard him first singing with Home Free, ring of fire. It is memorial day here today which is very somber but this has brightened my spirits and put me in the Christmas spirit for sure. I know this song well and was not expecting it to start off so base but it was a good choice. I thought the guy, I do not know his name, but he is a dark skinned fellow with a lovely voice, might kick it off. Sorry I do not know everyone's name yet. A much more emotional and rich rendition than the original. The sound was so full and moving. It seemed to bring you to a very excited place from the pleasure of listening to this version. For me, it brought me to a very peaceful place. Just lovely. I guess it must be a heavy burden for you Barry to carry. Everyone who knows you, loves you. Must be those bright and expressive eyes. RR

I have never heard this song before now. Beautiful voices for sure. While the cello is a very beautiful instrument, I would love to hear the song again without it just so I could hear Kirsten's voice alone. She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.

Hey B ☘️! What’s up Buttercup?!?! What’s happening? What do you have to tell me (hint that is EVERYTHING, sorry shouty?!?!) I need all of the details. Well. So. We got the Halloween 👻 decorations in bins, mind you they are too heavy for anybody to life into the attic but oh well?!?! Your woman Annie 🤡 thinks she can repack them better if we got one more tub and I was like, lady if you want to put all of this in the attic and have it where we can lift it we better get 3 more tubs. She 🤡 was like, nope we need just one more. I was like, alrighty then. 🙄 That was Saturday. I got up Sunday morning to walk the dogs and I busted my, ummmm, ahhhh, hmmm, butt on the driveway, well it was kinda sorta not really my butt but my back and mainly my head. I hit the back of my head so hard, it is still sore today. My neck hurts, my head hurts and now my back hurts. It was BAD (not sorry shouty.) So. I refused to go to the ER, yes, yes I know how dumb that is well was, but I was kinda sorta in shock and a weird daze. That is the only way I know how to describe it?!?! It is slowly getting better, I am sore as I have ever been, I have been watching for all of the signs of it turning into something more and so far so good. Not at all my finest moment?!?! 😬 I mean we don’t have rain 🌧️ for months and months and months and the very first rain 🌧️ we had I went and busted my ummm, ahhh, butt?!?! 😬 So next up were the storms, we have been HOT 🥵 (not sorry shouty) unseasonably hot 🥵, and here came the first of the cold fronts and the storm fronts formed and tornados 🌪️ were dropping, all north of us thank the goodness because I am not sure I could have made myself go to the cellar?! Another one dropped about 1/2 mile from my niece Bree’s, aka Breeze, aka Breezer, aka Breezer, in case you have heard of her (uh you haven’t heard from her like as in she is famous, she isn’t, I mean you might have heard from her from me, moving on 😬) house. I called her and told her, hey perhaps it is time for you to sell your house and move and she replied, yeah ya think?!?! I thought to myself, well that was a little cheeky, but I threw shade her way so it was basically even. Kinda sorta. 😬 So me and your woman Annie 🤡 went to town and to Walmart. Your woman Annie 🤡 decides at the absolute last moment that she wants to get her hair cut at Walmart. She said, I will go do that while you get the groceries. Oh right. This is a stellar plan, not at all a stellar plan. I was about halfway through and my neck and head were killing me. I powered through that, I mean what were the options, no options?!?! I checked out and went to the car twice cause I had to get the stupid bin. 🙄 After Walmart I was done! Have I pulled my window AC out yet you ask?! Nooooo, I am currently in that in between mode of running my AC and my ambient fake fireplace space heater at the same time?!?! 😬 I know I know but I need time to get over that fall enough to be able to lift the window unit out and down from a very high window. 😬 As if that were not enough news 📰 here is more. It is a sad sad day. 😔 Your woman Annie’s 🤡 doctor (well and mine too) is retiring at the end of the year. I know I know, I do not know what we will do without all of the flirting and the I love yous and the hey sweetie’s?!?! I had already actually switched to another doctor, I was having a hard time getting in to see him when he went half days. Your woman Annie 🤡 was like, what about me, she isn’t accepting new patients and now I am stuck with the new guy???? I was like, I can try to call and get you moved and she said, no let me see if I can train him and if not maybe things will have settled down in all of the shuffling and I can go to yours. Train him Annie 🤡?!?! Okay, get on with your bad self?!?! 😂 I think that is it, well I do have more but honestly that is enough for you to take in?!?! Well and also to report back?!?! 🤔 The world is still a tad bit crazy, the USA is for sure in crazy mode right now still. It should settle down in a few months.
