Unfortunately Turkey is very greedy and corrupt. They’ve done everything possible to steal as much as they can from foreigners which in turn raised prices for their own citizens. I feel sorry for the innocent civilians who suffer because of the greedy criminal business and property owners that are ruining the economy. Rents for people who have lived in the same apartment for a year suddenly raised 60%, two menus one for citizens and the highly inflated for foreigners, the country is a giant scam! Totally against their religion of Islam which is to treat people justly across the board, these people have left their religion and become greedy and worldly and sold themselves to the lira which is useless anyway. Disgusting

Is it true that non-turkish citizens are banned to buy /register ???property in Istanbul ? Does this Apply to Istanbul only or to other cities as well?
@ThinkTurkeyАй бұрын
@adams9800 not true at all. Non citizens can buy in Istanbul as well as any other cities. There is just restrictions for residency (property bought to gain residence permit) for certain areas due to too many foreigners in those areas surpassing 20%. However if you buy for citizenship there is no restriction, or for investment also no restrictions at all. Get in touch with me for more info wa.me/+905369565130

@GregoryIngleАй бұрын
@ThinkTurkey That makes SOME sense then. I did think it was for one unit. $150k to $180k is typical of these types of units in much better areas. Where does the $465k come in? These are $233k apiece? I'm trying to like your channel - but real estate in Istanbul is scam on top of scam on top of scam.

@ if you buy for citizenship it is priced much higher due to taxation. This is a longer topic which requires a separate video. Thanks for this QnA session. What's the healthcare quality and cost in Turkiye for both Citizen and Non Citizen? Asking for old aged people (60+)
@ThinkTurkeyАй бұрын
Healthcare when compared to UK, US, Canada is considered quite decent when we look at the private facilities. For the public facilities it depends on the facility itself, you have to pick and choose the right one based on recommendations from locals. For advanced cases then again we go to the public hospitals and university research hospitals which are quite renowned here. Non-citizen with residence permit can get access to public health facilities for a nominal fee and private hospitals for a slightly lower fee compared to tourists. To avail fully for free you can buy the public health insurance (SGK) after living here for a year, you can qualify to purchase this. With this insurance you qualify for subsidized rates even in private hospitals (public is free with this) and many locals even utilize this to get affordable treatments with higher quality of service but lower rates at private hospitals with SGK health insurance.
@GregoryIngleАй бұрын
@@ibtehaj-khan Private healthcare is about 25% of the USA. Acibadem hospitals system is amazing. Kizilay is also very nice.

Great questions. The reality of the Turkish CBI - it's taking over 2 years for most people now if you buy real estate. The wars, the refugees, the influx of Russians and Ukranians. It has overwhelmed the system. The companies saying it is happening faster than that are lying. I personally know at least 20 people still waiting. Resident permit (ikamet) process has gotten a lot faster lately but it's not what it used to be either. Very clear video. Good job. Yuvvum accounts have made me a great return on investment (non citizenship accounts) they allow for arbitrage with set return.
@ThinkTurkeyАй бұрын
Thanks Greg 🙏 You are right that it has slowed down, however I wouldn’t say over 2 years though. My info is that if you applied recently like within 6 months, your wait time is about a year or maybe 1.5 years if you don’t have a good law firm looking after your case. Some law firms can process faster if they are following up on the application and bring that timeline to under a year. This could be a temporary issue as well and it’s possible they will again start to speed things up in coming months. Time will tell. Get in touch with me, perhaps I can help your friends (20 ppl) you mentioned to get things moving along quicker. wa.me/+905369565130
