Very good question, for real estate they are using GBP (pounds) because it used to be an English colony.

Any mosques there? If there are facilities for practising Muslims then I know many western Muslims would be interested.

Yes definitely there are mosques there however fewer than mainland Turkiye I would say. Nevertheless there are mosques as it is still part of the Turkish Republic. We would just have to plan strategically the location of investment to ensure easy access to a mosque.
