Did Joe play great? Yes. Is it foolish to assume he’s a starter in this lg based off a one game analysis? Absolutely 😂 Not only is it just one game but this is equivalent to a pre season environment. Joe showed flashes and some good things, let’s slow down on crowning him a starter in the lg he hasn’t proven anything yet. No hate, just being real and I know that will offend most cuz they wanna justify how they feel. Fuck ya feelings I operate within the facts and reality. Joe still has to show he can be consistent in training camp alone before anything else. I’ve seen Will Levis come out guns blazing last year how quickly have ppl changed the tune on him being a starter QB? O…. Ok Anybody can show flashes, CONSISTENCY IS KEY

He looked great against the Bills, non starters that were rested. But the mangoes have talent ...Pats need an Offensive coordinator that can get Milton and Maye involved in the offense.

Again, yes, second stringers were abundant for the Bills, but, the passes from Milton were darts and accurate, with his scrambling ability and arm strength, no receiver is off the table, a d-back snoozes or cheats thinking this will get burnt, that is a modern day QB in all books

yea modern day qb forsure and he showed it by running that read option for the td. But thats nothing he isnt afraid to take a hit or lower the shoulder while he runs. No qb does that in the league

Drake Maye is so overrated… these are the same receivers this is the same line and Drake did nothing with them not once did he put someone over 100 yards and please go ahead and claim he wasn’t playing against starters that’s fraud majority of the starters played this game Joe Milton just did more with the same tools because he is a better player if we trade him and keep Drake Maye it will be a huge mistake Drake is not that guy and he never will be

Let's get real. Joe Milton played again third string players. Plus, the Buffalo players were told to lose this game. Just lookout the move made by the head coach. He made sure his team lost. With all that said, not saying Milton could not be a good NFL quarterback .

Against 3rd and 4th string players, pretty sure even Bills janitor was out there at one point. Also on top of all of that, the Bills weren’t even trying to win, actually they were trying to lose. But ya sure, he had a good game.

Milton threw perfect passes. The defense doesn't matter. He is also way more athletic than Maye who runs like molasses in the winter 😅

2nd and 3rd string players dont play to lose. They are playing for jobs and positions on teams next year. That whole idea is a myth. And anyway, he showed undeniable skills. The anticipation, the pocket presence, the timing, the velocity and arm talent, it was all there and then some. That kind of skillset translates well against any defense, whether it's 1st string or last.

You can’t compare Maye, against really good teams that are in the hunt, with Joe’s against 2nd and 3rd string players who haven’t had many reps. That analysis isn’t equal. If he can play that way against 1st string D then I’d like to see him get a shot next year. Maye is more polished though. Maye is faster on his feet. Arm strength is not an issue with either of them, even if Joe is a bit stronger on the throw. I like both of them so I’m happy either way, which is a good problem to have lol

@@lexist7it’s what’s best for the team you didn’t read my other reply obviously. Look at what I said to elitemidrange, my response to him is the same response I give to you. Subtract 1 weapon and get 3 weapons. Hunter counts as 2. And take care of our O line issue with FA. You fix multiple hoes by trading Maye. Or be forced to fix every hole in FA because the 4th pick we get will do very little. Plus Milton can play, and he has a stronger arm. If it doesn’t work out draft a qb next draft when we have all holes filled already. It’s genius

That second to last catch shows me he's improving. He's lucky Herbert is so accurate and throws him a laser right at his med section so he can make those basket catches.

I think that's part of his body catching problem. Herbert puts it right on him, so he just keeps using his body. He has shown his hands have greatly improved, but keeps reverting to his old ways. He is showing his talent, though, and hopefully continues to play well. This is basically his rookie season. The offense last year was a complete joke.
