Hi there. I absolutely love the walk around the garden. It's beautiful and peaceful, no nonsense talking, although it may sometimes be useful to know what some of the plants are. You've been very inspirational to me. Consequently, I've spent a lot of money on plants for my garden. If you have an open day, please let me know. I'd love to come and see it in the flesh. Keep up the good work. Gärtnerin Dot.

Yes I can see why you’d think it was a Pachypodium. I was dying to pull it out as I kept seeing it as an eyesore BUT knew that it would look spectacular if it decided to flower.

3:25 on the right side of what I presume are Thalia's, what plant is that with the trunk that starts out sideways and then curves upward? Looks very cool
@Springyfeller7 ай бұрын
Hi Tim, it’s a very sickly Echium. I was giving it the benefit of the doubt but it eventually died. It had self seeded in that spot and it wasn’t really an ideal place for it.

@@Springyfeller Ah that's why it didn't ring a bell, looked like something more like a Pachypodium 😅😆 It still is interesting to look at though

@Springyfeller11 ай бұрын
Hi Captain, due to work commitments I have hardly been in the garden this year so there won’t be a video. Hoping to be back out there a lot more next year. It has given me time to change a couple of areas that weren’t working. I also lost one or two plants during last year’s harsh winter so need to replant a couple of areas.
@captainredbeard174911 ай бұрын
cheers for letting us know. I lost a fair few big plants this year and kind of lost the enthusiasm but was watching your vids again and i'm back into it. look forward to any updates. all the best @@Springyfeller

Wow that‘s amazing that all those tropical plants grow in your climate. I am just establishing my garden and your videos are such an inspiration to keep going and also have patience and give it time. We get temperatures ranging from minus 5 to plus 40 in summer so it is a challenge. Thank you f9r showing your paradise to us all….

I'd be worried sick about everything during the winter months here in Virginia. That's why i bought a bunch of 60 gallon flat bottom fish tanks to plant in, so i can move them inside my greenhouses in the winter months with my mini skid steer.
