On a jokey side, Sakuraba could have easily won the fight in the second minute... if he knew the basics of Ameridote! Gracie's groin was exposed the whole time as he was desperately signaling Sakuraba to come to the ground, and Sakuraba could have stomped it, if only he had access to Master Ken's wisdom back then... But that's okay because he won anyway.

Fangio was just a different breed amongst the greats. Seeing all the drivers wrestling the wheel, while Fangio looks like he's enjoying a chill Sunday drive.

Sakuraba took it easy on Royler. He fully opened that can of whoop-ass on Royce.

Makes sense. It certainly appears that Judo comes from not only Jiu Jitsu but Shuai jiao as well. The similarities in the techniques are nearly identical 💯. Just my own observation

This is probably how they really fought, unlike in movies. Imagine witnessing that in real life back in the feudal era.

You can’t quit after all that talk. He’s injured numerous fighters and then quits when he’s not winning. “It’s spring time.” Douche.

switch kick roundhouse. step front leg roundhouse. Turning back kick. spinning hook kick. ALL TAEKWONDO and not Wushu. Sorry wushu but if you want to kick box ya better learn the dynamic kicking of TKD. So many knockouts in the first 5 minutes mostly due to these guys have not seen enough TKD kicks before.

Sakuraba trained with Chute Boxe for this fight, and it was evident in his striking and the Ruas congratulating him at the end. Ken was staggered and tried to weather the attack by turning his back, but Sakuraba answered with at least one more pinpoint strike and most likely more if the ref didn’t stop it.

Ritler não bateu, o juíz roubou. Royler é muito flexível. As regras só davam a vitória em caso de finalização, por isto o juíz ajudou Sakuraba a poucos segundos do fim da luta

The greatest of all time. Look at the equipment this man had compared to modern drivers. Dude is spinning out every turn and keeping it together. The guy would be driving with his knees with todays F1 cars, while he used his hands to wave at the ladies in the stands. What a beast. To even survive in that era, let alone dominate as he did, is an incredible feat.

Grande Sakuraba
