I'm not sure if there are 5 or 6 dams...but I'd love to be there when all the rivers are at full flow, the water levels at the top of each dam!! Good walk!
Cool dam at 8:45 but why is it so big for such a small stream? Great views from 51:30 & 52:06! Good walk!

Thank you for your comments. The steep mountains consist of easily crumbling strata, so in the event of heavy rain, there is a risk of large-scale debris flows and landslides. Therefore, a large dam has been constructed.
Nice view of the dam at 10:48! What does it say carved in the rock at 26:12 & do you know when it was done? Another good walk 👍😊

The carve ”南無阿弥陀仏” at 26:12 was done about 150 years ago and this phrase is commonly used in Japanese Buddhism. It expresses reverence and trust towards Amida Buddha. When chanting “Namu Amida Butsu,” people are acknowledging their gratitude and seeking salvation through Amida Buddha’s teachings. It signifies the aspiration for rebirth in the Pure Land of Sukhavati, where they can attain enlightenment and peace in the afterlife.

That dam at 6:00 looks new, was it built recently? And great seeing all the waterfalls frozen!
