Went a decade ago. Paid for the full bundle. Only went on the big shot. Passed on x-scream and claw ride. Didn't know 1st ride would launch us up?! Have seen rides like this before and they always seem to ramp up anticipation by the slow rise to the top position before getting dropped at free fall speeds. ⚠️⚠️⚠️SPOILER ⚠️⚠️ ****☆☆☆☆☆☆****** ⚠️⚠️⚠️🤯🤯🤯⚠️⚠️ NOT THE CASE.: Ride emits fog and sounds an alarm while undulating up and down a foot or two briefly before going FULL ejection seat mode. Ride has about 10 seats per side forming a perfect square with full ride being around 40 occupants(est?). I had the ride operation in reverse (slow climb/fast drop). The picture they offer to sell you as you depart is taken at the very top where you feel weightless. The riders in my row were all holding the shoulder straps/harness, legs down, and all smiles. Not me. I had a severe grimace, arms and legs were up by my head (strangely off to side opposite my row passengers-I had corner), and had I not used bathroom that morning there would have been a BIG problem! (💩🗯..."Clean up on 2!"). I opted not to buy the photo. I will never forget that memory as long as I live. Went directly to bar and bought a big barreled Heineken and then another. Proceeded to walk around observation deck for 20 minutes to lower my heart rate. Picked up on some macho chatty dudes talking about how they would ride these rides "no problem". I was all too happy to offer up the ticket for the rides, at which time a serious case of stuttering ensued followed by a somewhat embarrassing moment of gratitude for the offer,..."BUT....(insert lame excuse here). See-Saw and Claw (X-scream, Insanity, Sling Shot, and Observation Lounge package deal saved $$$) looked worse than the ejection seat ride(ironically I watched other two rides before opting to go on bottle rocket trip- didn't know the excitement was on the way up and didn't watch ride function beforehand). Can't say I blame the passers on the free ride and genuinely wasn't trying to Shame them. If I see a $20 on the ground, to this day, I'd still pick it up and figured these people talking the big game were kind of interested. Had no takers. Looking back on my experience, I would not have over done it on the hydroxycut workout pills before the poker session earlier and done a little more research. Didn't have a smart phone then sooo life was a little more spontaneous. The roller coaster wasn't there when I went and the claw is currently out of operation (probably indefinitely). The new attraction is a bungee free fall type endeavor which looks to have better results than the "free" version *cough* *cough*. Always best to check out the Stratosphere's page to see what offers they may be running depending on time of year, college students, military, etc. OR Groupon could land you a deal. Social links and YT : VEGAS (insert query) and of course Google (be sure to use quotations). Word to the wise:👮🏿‍♂️🗯 The many blocks surrounding the Stratosphere are beyond "red light"! It is very dangerous walking around that area even during the day (driving is questionable - so I'm told now). Also, with record heat temperatures it is not advisable to walk there anyway. Plus, walking around Vegas seems like everything is close when in fact it is going to be at least 3× as far as you might think. Could be the oxygen they pump in the casinos giving false narratives 😅. Anyway, hope this helps and maybe just consider doing the zipline on Freemont at night (make reaervation) or get a rental car and load up with a picnic and friends for a day hike around Red Rocks or other scenic treks that are more than worth the change of pace (could rent a Ferrari if you win a K at the tables and want to get there fast!). Have fun, be safe, and buy cases of water on the way from airport (sunblock if you don't do well in the sun). 🤞🤠👍🎲🎲♠️♥️♣️♦️ Bonus (for those who made it to the end: 👇 May or may not be able to get up to top floors by stating, "We have a rez." ANYMORE. Might say you are going to "Top of the World" for drinls and appetizers at the bar and deciding on getting a table if a cancellation occurs. Or something like that...good luck and spend elevator money on drinks. 😢

New vekoma coasters are buttery smooth, so while it won’t be the most thrilling it’ll still be a great ride

Anaconda I didnt ride tumbili because it had a giant line but the main thing about my list that makes it unique is flight of fear being so high. For some reason I love flight of fear way more than the average person and enjoy it a lot, I love the launch and the dark and just the general atmosphere of it. I also dont really care for dominator because I just dont like floorless coasters, they are intense but they all feel the same to me and I just dont care for them.

I'm hoping that when flash opens, lines for Jersey Devil die down lol

I first went on kingda ka in April of this year 2024 and I didn’t twice and I didn’t get the roll back thank god. I rode it again this month and I was lucky again

Ive ridden mystic timbers several times and i just dont see how this even makes top 5 on all lists ive seen. For 1 its way to whippy it hurts physically to ride it hurts worse than even the roughest ride of the beast. 2 the shed is absolutely the lamest part of the ride and was an absolute let down how uninteresting it is, i think it definitely would have more appeal if it some how tied into the lore of the beast since they are close to one another. All in all its at best an ok ride if i was being generous it would only make top 6 or 7 in the park

Dominator will always be my favorite floorless. Rode it as Batman back in the day and I blame it for getting me hooked.

A capacity nightmare-gp drawing ride at the front of the park??!? What was six flags thinking? I think it will be a great addition but they should’ve done what they did for Aquaman and given it a turnstile to increase capacity
