Yours looks tasty. My mama is from the south, & she made these (without the peppers. I use Old Bay seafood seasoning in mine) for both dinner & breakfast. With breakfast we had biscuits & grits with cheese & eggs. For dinner, mama would make some pinto beans, fried okra, & white rice 😋. Sometimes, we only had the croquetts. It was still yummy.😀
