Showed my son this song in weekend.. I stole this demo tape from a party I shouldn’t have been at when I was 11 in 92…. Could not believe the sound and it still stands up today!!

I wish I got to experience Rage Against the Machine. Back in the 1990s Zack de la Rocha had to have been credited as "the most angry & wild man of the decade". Tom Morello came up with Disk Jockey like Guitar playing style. Tim Commerford is in the same category as Geddy Lee or John Deacon. But Brad Wilk literally was a Jazz Drummer turned Rock N' Roll Drummer.

…SONG OF THE DAY!!! RAGE AGAINTS THE MACHINE - THE GHOST OF TOM JOAD (1997) Es momento que las nuevas generaciones conozcan que esta PODEROSA Y CLÁSICA CANCIÓN es originalmente interpretada por "EL JEFE" BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN la cual está basada en el personaje de la novela de John Steinbeck y que interpretó HENRY FONDA en la película (THE GRAPES OF WRATH, 1940). La letra hace referencia a esas INJUSTICIAS SOCIALES, CORRUPCIÓN ECONÓMICA Y BRUTALIDAD POLICIACA en donde el ESPÍRITU DE TRABAJAR JUNTOS es representado con el FANTASMA DE TOM JOAD. Toda una ODA a la RESISTENCIA Y PERSEVERANCIA!!! Puño arriba bNd y ME VERÁS AHÍ (YOU'LL SEE ME)!!!! 🤘🏿ULTRAMEGAROLOTA🤘🏿07/09/2024
