Thanks for the video! Does anybody have any recommendation for a winter storage facility for a 21ft wake boat?

What about the possibility that the Chicago White Sox will relocate to here?

You need to talk about the “MEAN” fellow boater (especially on the stars) late season starts due to weather, short season, traffic getting to your boat every weekend, the change of weather every ten minutes, and winterization costs and timing. IMO, it’s very costly for such a short season. And, do I dare bring up crime these days to contend with now due to the poor leadership people keep voting for causing this to happen?

love the realistic point of view. I have been thinking about making a breakfast nook for my small dinning area.

I love this is a cheap diy hack, but worried about the weight capacity if I get 3 or 4 people on it. How did you figure out how much it could hold?

I hear ya on the foam. I made a pallet couch, before I had the foam...so for now I'm using cushions for pallet couches, but they are designed and meant for outdoor use. They're not super comfortable, but gets the job done...for now.

The bench and the pillow look great. The table might be better with darker legs to go with the color of the bench, I know you said you bought it because it matches the kitchen cabinets, but maybe just painting the legs another color to bring the two ( cabinets and bench ) together..distressed grey ? Anyway, Great job !

I'm a boater from Chicago, I have to say owning a boat is a money pit, but worth it. The smart ones have friends that own boats. That gives high fives at the end of a cruise out and says thanks while they are making way to the dock door. While you stay behind cleaning and securing everything. Lol

Project 78 won’t get built. Mainly because the city is so damn bankrupt they rely on private investors and those investors want nothing to do with the city’s property tax burden. Good luck with that development

I think you should look at Liv Tyler’s home in New York next. Rita’s and Liv’s homes are my favourite so far on Architectural Digest. The problem with having no walls around the bathroom is steam and moisture from the bath, in the winter in particular. Ventilation is important. You don’t want this in your bedroom. I also prefer my bed next to a wall.

That was not a hack. Before the convenience of Powerwash, Dawn was always an awesome degreaser. If anything what you did was less time consuming and a convenience, but not a hack. No harm, no foul. Old school 😉

I enjoyed watching your video and hearing your thoughts on the Barbie Dream House based on Barbie the Movie. My hobby is Barbie collecting and building Barbie doll houses. I like to use LARGE Office Depot CARDBOARD BOXES, MDF and foam boards for the little details you put inside such as baseboards, etc. So, I went to see this movie. I enjoyed it. But the houses inspired me!!! So I went home and began to build myself a new Barbie Dream House based on this house!!! I used 3 large cadboard boxes. My bottom floor is the garage where I put my 1957 Barbie Chevrolet Corvette. The first floor is the bedroom and bathroom- I did put a wall for privacy. The hardest part was finding the pink shimmery material for the bedding. The second floor the kitchen and living area. I put the bar space and my refrigerator is in it. (In the movie they put the refrigerator in the fireplace wall.) With this floor I took the wall away like they did in the movie. All my furniture in it have different shades of pink. I painted my house Hot Pink and I bought light pink craft foam paper to make the bricks. Mine is mid-century modern also in it's look. I looked at AD's You Tube video and saw the little monkeys, so I added little monkeys to mine. (Zuru fingerlings monkeys- too cute and sooo tiny.) My mailbox is a pink flamingo. (I bought at Targets in the Dollar section.) My Perfect Day Barbie and Barbie the Movie Beach Ken live in this house. I wanted to share with you because you like architecture. My house turned out beautifully and I just enjoy sitting and looking at it. It is not so much as too big but it is tall and beautiful. When you walk in my Barbie room you notice it and the largest house I have built "Sept-Tours" from A Discovery of Witches.

Its taking so long because INVESTORS see the decline of this city they are having a hard time SECURING FINANCING for this. Its so bad they are looking for government financing who is refusing to finance such a project in an already developed wealthy area, while the rest of the city rots. Which is correct.

WARNING ABOUT CHICAGO BEFORE COMING HERE. Chicago isn't the place you want to move to right now unless you make 6 figures. . 1. It has huge budget defecits. This means higher fees across the boards. More REDLIGHT AND SPEED CAMERAS, $100 tickets if you go just 4 to 5 above the speed limit of 30. With budget defecits I wouldn't be surprised it its reduced to just 2 mph above and higher fees. 2. The budget defecits will only get worse with ALL THE ILLEGALS COMING. 3. You will be PAYING MORE FOR MUCH LESS. There isn't enough police while crime is RISING, The roads are worst. The government services are much more expensive and SLOW TO OBTAIN. 4. In addition to already paying HIGH TAXES alreadyYou have to be able to afford PRIVATE SCHOOLS, PRIVATE, SECURITY POLICE, AND PRIVATE GARAGES if you own a car. 5. YOU MUST HAVE A GARAGE IF YOU CAR IN CHICAGO. Theft and ROBBERY OUT OF CONTROL. 6. CHAOS AND NUISANCES RUN AMOK. You never know when the MOB IS COMING and police randomly shut down roads, AT ANY TIME to combat MOBS. A 10 minute trip will take 40 minutes as so many roads shut down and you are stuck in traffic. 7. There is no such thing as a good part of the city anymore. Crime is RAMPANT EVERYWHERE even in $600k homes areas. 8. Much of the crime is suppressed in HIGH INCOME HIGH COST HOUSING AREAS. I have been robbed in areas with $600k- 800k area. I was paid off not to talk to the news. The neighborhood associations do a good job of covering up the crimes . 9. THE CRIMINALS FROM ALL THE LOW INCOME AREAS ARE BRANCHING OUT TO THE RICH AREAS. They understand that its useless robbing other poor people. 10. THEY ARE EXPANDING THE REDLINE which is the most dangerous el line TO THE FAR SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO. This gives the criminals easier access to the city. 11. Businesses and more CORPORATE JOBS ARE FLEEING, except Amazon and other warehouses for the poor. The truth is this city is becoming a PLAYGROUND for the rich and tourists, and a POVERTY WAREHOUSE FOR THE POOR. If you can afford ALL THE INSULATION REQUIRED AND DOUBLE, TRIPLE TAXIATION THEN WELCOME.
