I killed one of the brood by mistake because I assumed it would aggro me if I got close just like the ones in the Haligtree and Caelid. I only killed one, but Moore spawned in anyway, so I ran away. He despawned, and I returned to the outside of Belaurat where he treated me like normal. Did I just do something Fromsoft never considered?

There is no way i would have figured this out without looking this up on youtube.

Note for everyone: In my playthrough, when Leda asked to kill Hornsent, I decided to side with him (after doing all tasks involving Freyja and Ansbach). Later on, Leda vs Ansbach didn't appear for me. Don't worry cause you can still summon Ansbach against Leda afterwards (I supposed it's immediately skipped cause Leda knows you're not gonna side with her anyway ?).
