I'd have reused the super Sonic theme from Sonic 3 ans make it longer by integrating the title screen theme in it, then build up on it by adding some fanfare and the S&K theme.

This was good. I can actually see this as an actual show

bejeweled Twist is the absolute best to me! the vibe, the music, the challenges. it was effing amazing!!!! better than bj3 to me. And bejeweled stars is gross. in Twist challenge, ive only eclipsed 8 planets

I may be just commenting on this now, but to me the transition to the S3 intro felt like a *very* abrupt shift out of left field. Maybe given another measure or two to transition would've helped. Other than that, this works pretty well :D

Maybe you could make an origins plus update variant by adding the Sonic 3 Hidden Palace theme, the unused track theorized for Hidden Palace in Sonic 2, and add the Sky Sanctuary theme in there too.

Would've been nice if you even added in the "go!" and "come on!" samples as well.

I always wished the games just added some instruments and sped the stage music up, like a combination of speed shoes and riding Yoshi in Mario World.

You should make a part two that features Bejeweled fan content (3 Plus, mods, fan-games, etc.)

12:36 I especially like the backgrounds of bejeweled twist and especially like the colorful effects that you make while chaining moves if you ever want to play, bejeweled while tripping on LSD well this is for you not to mention the colorful effects and the music are as cool as a cucumber

i do think if the themes you chose to take cues from were more remixed like for 2 and manias super themes it would be better. Other than that, its great

my only critique with this theme is that it doesn't really sound as badass as the original and instead it focuses way too much on being heroic instead soo 8/10 also the sonic origins transformation theme is incredible even if it uses different instruments than the rest of the ost and i will die on that hill armed with nothing but a sack of wet mice.

Now to be truthfully, honest, bejeweled 2 is probably my most favorite out of every single one mainly because I played it since childhood and also the soundtrack is pretty good. You get really cool games that we’re supposed to be better than the original that only contains two modes My gosh, the music for the beginning of the classic mode is absolutely phenomenal. It’s one of those tunes that you hear for the next 30 seconds and then it’s stuck in your head for the next 10 weeks

actually sonic 3 & knuckles is a fusion of sonic 2 and sonic cd 🤓 (why im commeting this like a year)

You can also make matches during cascades in bejeweled 3, whereas in 2 you had to wait until the gems settle. More chances to create forbidden hypercubes

this is such a forgotten franchise and i still actively play the games but sadly for some people the game is unplayable as in it doesnt work without being tweaked and tinkered with (because ever since popcap games was sold they stopped updating the bejeweled games codes)

Great review! Twist is my favorite, but I agree that the Bad Gems there get pretty annoying. Also it has those little swimmy boys on Classic Mode Level 2 and Challenge Planet Preserver, which I love.

Your song is good. Honestly, awhile Sonic 4 ep 1 and 2 considered bad, I like the second episode better than the first. Honestly, the song in Sonic Origins feels like it fits perfectly with Sonic 3&K on how I see, or hear it, because it brings the essence of the title screen, and invincibility song to the point that it feels like the song fits with the 3&K title. The proper genesis covers are just as good but it like the final product of the song that they used for the game. It’s just my opinion and you don’t have to like it or agree with it or respect it because it’s your choice if you want to or not. Heck, despite Sonic 4 ep 2 being considered as a bad game, I had still fun playing it on mobile.

Excellent song. Worthy of being modded into the game over the other one!😊
