I'm a child of the 80s. But as I learned the drums. Ringo and Doug Clifford of CCR were my drum teachers. They taught me how to keep time. How to play for what the song needed.

I still wish they would’ve kept the original bridge of this song. The “I don’t wanna lose you. Oh no” part that was on the original demo. I’ve found a couple remixes of the song where it was put back in.

Paul said he thought he could do it better. Ringo used brushes on the backing track (though some footage does show him using sticks too. Maybe the drums sounded too 90s Lynne?
