You can't drive up to the bridge, but it's just at the edge of town (Holdingford). You could easily walk to it.

So what are you using to communicate with each other?
@rollingreclinerRecumbent22 күн бұрын
We use Sena cycling helmets to communicate and the sound is clear. What you hear in the video comes from DJI Mic2 and her audio has a warble that I'm trying yet to remedy. It's because her mic is in front of her body and not with a direct line to the receiver. www.sena.com/en-us/product/r1/

Looks like a great place to exercise your recumbent trikes! In your "Minivan-Trike load" video from a year ago, mind if I ask how long the trikes are that you load into the Odyssey? My wife and I ride ICE Sprint X Tour trikes that measure about 86"-87" long, and I'm wondering about them fitting into an Odyssey. I don't have an Odyssey, nor do I know anyone who has one to try fitting them inside. How cumbersome is process of removal and re-installation of the second row seats? Thank you!

Enjoyed your video, it provides some good info. My wife and I ride ICE Sprint X tour trikes with assist motors. We’re looking into how to transport them. We were at a Honda dealer yesterday. I’m wondering about seat removal, specifically the weight of the seats.
@rollingreclinerRecumbentАй бұрын
The seats are heavy and not a task I would want to do on a regular basis. We've only installed them twice in three years. Our van is basically a trike hauler.

What rear gears do you have. They change nicer than mine.
@rollingreclinerRecumbent2 ай бұрын
Nexus Inter-5E. It is a 5spd autoshift with manual override. It doesn't have that annoying power cut out that the 8spd does when shifting between gears. I love it for stop and go rides because it always starts out in the lowest gear and I fly away from stops. I run out of pedal around 23mph so it's not great for road rides.

How do you have your camera attached to your trike?
@rollingreclinerRecumbent2 ай бұрын
store.insta360.com/product/motorcycle-ubolt-mount?c=2630&from=accessory Attached to the top bar of the seat frame. Best thing I've done because I no longer have to hold the selfie stick while riding. The Ace Pro camera has an available video remote that I attach to my handlebar so I can check the framing of the image, start, pause, stop and save recording. The remote can actually do anything done on the camera for setup too. I used GoPro for years, but this Ace Pro is light years ahead in all aspects.

Well I have encountered trikes in the trail and one of the problems is they are simply too wide and force others to move over and they cannot negotiate tighter places. They sit way too low. And the day I cannot balance on my recumbent Bike E is the day I bike no longer!
@rollingreclinerRecumbent3 ай бұрын
Trikes are not handicap vehicles. We ride them for comfort and by choice.
@teesbytom62323 ай бұрын
Never said anything about handicapped vehicles. Just said they are very wide for most bike trails. I have no trouble riding my good old Bike E recumbent anywhere like the so called "normal" bikes that I refer to as out dated tech bikes. But recumbents are the best for enjoyable long range normal riding.
