Great review dude and your microphone sounds good. I just bought the Carhartt WIP ‘winter’ Detroit (quilted lining) for £230 new. A bit pricey but this is the street version (rather than workwear) so it doesn’t drop round the back. The quilted version is super warm which I wanted to replace my Levi’s Sherpa jacket. I’m usually a UK size medium and went with the small US sizing and it fits perfectly. I can even layer well with a hoodie and it still doesn’t feel tight. Super pleased with it and though it looks fresh, I look forward to the zipper getting some patina and the jacket having some fading etc.

Thanks for the explanation. However,, single stitch doesn't make it a better quality shirt on its own. In the era of single stitch, the shirts were overall just made better. Once shirts started getting manufactured cheaply, they added the second stitch to reinforce the seam because the quality of the material wasn't as good anymore... at least that's my understanding.
