There's a lot of white space on the sides which makes it really hard to read the abstracts. I'd love if you formated it so that the words could be a bit bigger.

Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate you pointing that out, and I'll consider adjusting the formatting to improve readability. However, it was hard to do it without mess up the paper´s layout.

I study in Psychology major in university right now and want to be neuropsychologist in the future but I also very interested in forensic psychology so I want to ask if I be neuropsychologist in general are there any possibilities to work in forensic settings?
@MindBrain-Talks
@MindBrain-Talks 18 күн бұрын
That's a great question! While neuropsychology and forensic psychology are distinct fields, there are certainly opportunities to work at the intersection of both. Many neuropsychologists can apply their skills in forensic settings, especially in assessments related to competency evaluations or understanding the psychological impact of trauma in legal cases. Thank you!

Hello. Thank you for your content. I would like to ask for your suggestions if I may. I'm a physician who wishes to learn about the practices of psychotherapy. I would like to do this efficiently. What is the best way to obtain a survey of the various kinds of talk therapy? Thank you for your time. I am watching this video right now and by the time I finish it I may have a better idea of how to start, including choosing one of the books you listed at the beginning to read. I would be interested in materisl organized in a lecture or syllabus format which I can work through at my own pace. I work with therapists in the United States and would like to understand the framework behind what they do to help their clients.

Dear colleague, thank you so much for your comment, your motivation is extremely valid. My suggestion is to search for online courses related to psychotherapy. I know this may differ from country to country, so it is better to explore your local schools (some have online courses). Otherwise, sometimes APA has some courses related to psychotherapy. I hope it helps.

How to speed up processing speed.it's possible doctor sir and how?
@MindBrain-Talks
@MindBrain-Talks 12 күн бұрын
Dear follower, processing speed is a feature that can be augmented with training to some degree. However, humans have "standard" processing abilities that tend to be stable and only in (neuro) psychopathology this tends to be reduced.

I just found your KZbin channel and haven't had time to explore all of the contents; however, this video is of particular importance to me. I was the victim of a pedophile (a neighbor) starting at the age of 4 until we moved when I was 9. I was abused well over 1,000 times and because he told me it was our secret and I would get in trouble if I told anyone, I didn't tell my mom about it until I was 25. I'm going to be 61 in December, and I just found out about C-PTSD. I was once diagnosed with borderline personality disorder years ago, but upon reading about the diagnosis, I knew it was totally wrong! Recently I admitted myself into Mayo Clinic because I was going to take my life the next day. I've never been able to understand when I'm triggered and what I am feeling. I am a person who freezes, and my mind has been incapable of clear thought when that happens. I understand that there's now a lot of research on the biological changes that take place when abuse begins before the age of 5, while the brain is so plastic. In addition, if the abuse continues over a long period of time, I have read that these changes are deeply "drawn" into the psychological functioning of the brain. Until my recent stay, last week, in Mayo, I was unable to identify that I was even being triggered and could not identify the ensuing feelings, let alone have the tools to combat this complex problem. I don't know if you have made a video about the neurological changes that occur from C-PTSD, but if you haven't, I suggest it would help millions of people around the world. I've unwittingly wrecked my life over and over again. I've blamed myself for everyone else's bad behavior, isolated to an extreme, felt hopeless and worthless and guilty and shameful, etc. I am a Medical Laboratory Tech, and spend 40 hours a week giving my attention to detail while simultaneously to multitasking, while tuning out all of the external distractions incessantly going on around me. In addition, every test I perform is timed, the countdown displayed on a large screen on the wall and my computer. In addition to all of that, I have had to work with other techs, lab managers and even HR people who are, at the least, petty and bullying, and at the worst, Corporate Psychopaths (that's a real thing, and I have experienced it). The last five labs I've worked in have been a nightmare, but the lab in S. Illinois caused me to gain new and serious physical illnesses, which I recognized at the time. But I was not able to understand the psychological damage that occurred to me in that situation. When in Mayo, an RN who had previously worked in a lab completely and independently corroborated and validated my experiences. I almost quit my profession after that S. Illinois lab job, and now, I must quit lab work for the time being as I continue my treatment on an outpatient basis. It was my decision voiced to my care team, and they concurred. I'm telling you all of this to give you a picture of how complex this emotional dysregulation is and how insidious it is, ruining your life unawares. Okay, that all seems a bit histrionic, but I assure you it is not. It's the reality of Complex-PTSD. Do you know about the recent research done on the neurological changes of this newly-studied psychemotional (my new word) disturbance? I appreciate your specialty and your willingness to inform everyone. Sincerely, Karen

My mom had a small stroke a few years ago. She could perfectly construct what she wanted to say, but the signal would not reach her mouth. Interestingly, she found out just hours after the stroke that she could sing anything she wanted. She had been a talented vocalist since the age of 2, and taught her two sisters to sing with her in three part harmony. At the ages of 21, 18 and 16, my mom and her sisters went to audition for the two biggest music studios in Nashville. They were offered recording contracts by both studios on the spot. These studios produced performers such as Elvis Presley, Loretta Lynn, Bob Dylan, Jerry Lee Lewis, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, etc. So, these studios were the two best of the times, and for these three young sisters to be offered two contracts by both studios in one weekend speaks of their skill. Do you think her ability to sing without being able to get fully formed ideas and thoughts to come out of her mouth was completely due to the stroke locality, or was it because she had practiced to perfection the art of singing? I'm just curious as to what you think. Thank you, Karen

ORIGIN OF MIND OF LIVING BEINGS It's a matter of natural selection of millions of years in evolution and It occurred mearly from a molecular of epinephrine or norepinephrine, unlike GABA (- " a negatively charged molecular " with no carbon rings ) , due to less number of carbon RINGS, Vs that of serotonin ( 2 carbon rings ), according to my imagination , based on facts in my Research and Observations. You know " Dopamine " , a neurotransmitter when considering in molecular level, as It lacks a 1 carboxyl group in comparison to the molecule of norepinephrine, just as dopamine is converted into norepinephrine , a carboxyl group is infused with it , resulting in activation of alpha adrenergic receptors. How norepinephrine modulates negative cognitive effects and serotonin.... those Positive, You may have seen, new born cubs starting to walk and loving it's mother , would It be possible just upon probability ? What about S. P. Infusion of norepinephrine and it's carbon rings ! What is the combination behind it and carbon rings of serotonin ? Every chemical compound has it's endemic rethum or wave generated according to varying ionization energy when excited , and so it's a matter of short circuit .
