I'm looking forward to your next camino video. I finally got back onto the Camino Frances in 2024 & seeing your beautiful vlogs brings back some warm memories.

Thank you for sharing your Camino here, it's wonderful to see a winter Camino (I'd love to walk in a much quieter season sometime!). It's also so interesting to hear your thoughts about how to approach this walk, and maybe being conflicted over the distances you cover. I know your walk is now finished so I'll be curious to see what you decide- if you continue to walk more 'typical Camino distances' or if you decide to do bigger days. To someone who has only walked Caminos (or who hasn't walked much at all), these stages you're doing are big! But for someone who has thru-hiked the big trails in the US, I can imagine that a Camino and its stages must seem so different. What an opportunity to potentially change your mindset, or be open to a very different type of experience, and to learn things about yourself through it all. This is the beauty of a pilgrimage! Thanks again for sharing!

Enjoy your Camino and choose what makes it best for you. Maybe you will find some of the other questions answers at the end.

Good morning Stella! I don't know how i missed this one. 😮. I woke up way early and couldn't sleep and was surprised to see your video pop up that i hadn't seen before. Absolutely beautiful area and Hike! ❤. Your one brave young lady to hike that by yourself. That's quite the accomplishment to cover that many high elevation miles in one day. Thats just an absolutely beautiful area at any season of the year I'm sure. Thanks for sharing!

I sure hope the rest of your vlog allows you finally realizing why you were on this pilgrimage. It’s not just a walk. It’s a true spiritual religious pilgrimage and I hope in some ways you found that for yourself because you seem a little lost these days. I think you’re a very interesting young lady and I only wish the best for you. And I hope the Camino was able to give you that.

Were you able to complete the Camino in the winter season with just the alburges? I am due to leave in 1 week and this is my biggest concern

Another rural paradise. You talked about choices and that is when , I suggest, the heaven prayers can be done. You are loved by so many; God and angels for example. I am sure you love to pray to Jesus! Another thought from me and many others; your smile is a shining heavenly light for us. Thank you!

Stella loves heaven. Her joy comes when she is enjoying the natural beauty in the wilderness. She loves to pray because she knows Jesus and her heavenly father love her .

These villages are gorgeous. The narrow streets, and balconies! 😍 8:00 <-- I completely understand this struggle. Sounds like you need more space and solitude. Introverts need far more of that for balance and stability. The right decisions come when we are balanced. 😊

I completely understand the want and desire for a private room and I hope you went with that desire when you walked. I switched to Pensions and private rooms pretty quickly when I walked the Frances and enjoyed my experience so much more (and have done private rooms on the Ingles and Caminha Costa when I could). Each person's Camino is their own camino and it's all about walking it in the way that brings you the most joy!

You should mention you are on the winter route, as the summer route is to unpredictable at this time of year. When you get to the top of the climb, it was in the clouds for us, it was like being on top of the world. Keep inspiring,.

These videos are so calming and relaxing. Much slower lifestyle and much beauty all around with the buildings, the land and skies. So glad to see you are taking it as a pilgrimage rather than a high mileage through hike.

As most places are closed in winter you will be obliged to stay in the "minicipales" or concil or church-run albergues. I would highly recommend staying in the following: San Juan Bautista in Grañón, Santa maria in Carrion where the nuns treat you toa bless ing and sing-along and the English-run Confraternity of Saint James albergue in Rabanaldel Camino. Phone before to ensure that they are open but they should feature in your guide book.
