Awesome day. Glad you are feeling well at that altitude and after putting in all those miles. Looks like your planning is working out.

There is always lighting if you hear thunder! Please be careful on those ridges where you are the most exposed.

Whew, you must have slept like a rock after a 27-mile hike. At least I hope so, for a few hours anyway. I hope you know you've got guts galore. You straight figured it out and showed altitude sickness who's boss. You should be so proud of your grit and willingness to push through.. you're going to sleep tonight in sweet victory. 👏❤️💪💥👊

Curious why you don’t use an enclosed tent? Aren’t you concerned about bugs, snakes etc? You’re brave lol

😮 Wow, 27 miles up that high. Seems like you're acclimating just fine! I admire how careful you are about choosing your pitch. You made the right choice pressing on to a better spot. Hope you get an amazing sunrise! 🌲🏕🌲

Yowza, that storm is no joke. Some of those views look other worldly, especially with the crazy clouds. I really hope you were able to find some safe cover for the night or get back to your car. It took me forever to realize that the little red clip on your chest strap when you leave it undone .. was not some sort of Peppa pig charm hanging off of there. Lol, that was back when you were on the PCT trail, but I still see it. 😂 stay safe, sweet girl. ❤

Scary being high up in a thunder storm. Hopefully that was just campfire smoke you smelled. The views were beautiful.Take care.

For now on, I will call grouse “mountain chickens” (9:40), and Oops!, Stella drops the S-bomb at 20:40, but for a good reason: I’m hoping the smell of smoke is from a campfire and not a forest fire. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow’s episode to find out 🤔. As they say, “Stay Tuned!”

This is turning into an addictive saga! Ever-saga..sounds like a video game. 😂 I hope that smell was a fire getting drenched from the passing storm. Stay vigilant Stella. ✌️

I was hitch hiking and the guy who picked me up asked if I was scared of getting picked up my a murderer, I said No, the chances of two murderers being in the same car is pretty low.

Hi Ever! So I do a lot of AT section hiking and pre arrange shuttle drivers to pick me up at my car/end point 50-60 miles at a time…maybe consider making a deal with the same driver to do this and you can plan a little better time-wise for each section. It can be a little more costly than just hitching but just an idea! I’m so glad to see you back on trail!! Enjoy!!😊

What a day Ever! You were the hitch queen. 😀 Wonder what your Coros would have pinned your HR at when the crazy cars were trying to pass each other. Glad you're ok! Thank you Jim for the H2O. Dense 🦫 population= giardia. Solid day today Stella. Rest well 🌲🏕🌲

Glad your back :) Consider putting a (bike, bike rack) on your car. Instead of a three hour hike to the trail head, it’s an hour ride. I watch a Twitch streamer Hitch who live streams hitchhiking. He uses a folding bike (Brompton) to get around town and get to good hitchhiking locations.

Glad the hitches worked out, especially since you have no control over it. Looked like a beautiful day to be hiking and great views to enjoy. Stay safe and look forward to tomorrow.
