The worst sport fishing I have ever done, and the most unsportsmanlike fisherman I have experienced was In Deutschland. We are now going back to 1978. At the time I was living close to Hannover I come from England, I first started fishing on our farm at the age of 4 , I have been an enthusiastic Angler all my life, especially fly fishing.We owned a stretch of prime Salmon fishing on the Welsh border. Being a keen fly fisherman I joined a large club in northern Germany that owned a few trout lakes for fly only It was fun even though there was always a lot of blood especially on the opening day of the season. After a few years the club refused to renew my membership saying that I must do some kind of test . I had taught so many of the members how to cast and tie a fly etc , I had also Taken members to England and introduced them to the pleasure's of salmon and sea trout fishing. Many managed to catch a salmon or two. I obviously refused to cooperate with their unreasonable request and told them where could put their fishing membership. The following month one of the members called on me at my house and asked if he could come to the UK salmon fishing, I explained what had happened to me and I was no longer taking anyone to the UK. A few days later he arrived once more at my house with a certificate signed by a few officials saying I had passed the prufung ( no umlaut) This is just a pathetic excuse to make life more difficult for normal people. I do have a Deutsch hunting license and have passed the prufung, but I find this a good thing as it involves weapons.

What bait/method of are you using?

Just signed up for fishing courses, i really hope they will at least try to explain important parts in english. Luckily i have some experience, just have to learn all these termins in german so i could bypass the exam without struggling. I never caught predators in my life, because in Ukraine it is almost unreal if you don't have a car to ride up to 30 km to the nearest river, but here almost on every corner there is a small pond, creek, river or a lake that is full of various fish in it!
