I found this movie on Amazon Prime this weekend, and am loving it. I have watched a few videos and read some comments and reviews. I think we are mostly women who watched it and are making the comments because we are all in love with Bruno and wish that such a man exists in our own lives. He is beautiful to look at; a gorgeous physical specimen, and he is also a really good actor. I had to think about why he honours her every request , even when doing so may cause harm to him, and I came to the conclusion that it is because she represents every love in his life bundled into one great love. She represents the love of his family; the two brothers already lost in the war and the loveless marriage as well. He has no friends that he can relate to in his army, and she is suffering from a lack of love in her life as well. Together, they can feel so not alone , and even though they are not destined to be together, they will , as long as they live, have the memory of love and desire fulfilled. The author of the short story this film is based on never wanted them to be together in her story , so that is why the ending is so sad. Wars are a horrible experience for all!!

List: 10.The Tomorrow People (never seen before) 9.The Secret Circle (not bad but it got canceled and I usually like when shows have more than one season but it has like 20 episodes but i hate watching a show that i know is not gonna get a season 2) 8.Bitten (well this is another very underrated Female lead show that might be a good watch if you like werewolves) 7.Lucifer (really good show not gonna lie this one will have you laughing for sure) 6.Witches of the East End ( pretty underrated but probably not for everyone) 5.Teen Wolf (this show makes me wanna punch my monitor season 3 the best season though) 4.The Originals (this is a pretty good show ngl best season is season 3 after that it just doesn't make sense but its not bad) 3.Supernatrual (the first five seasons is peak television if you don't feel like watching 15 seasons then just watch the first five its pretty amazing) 2.The Vampire Diaries (this is about as bad as a teen drama gets but you cant blame the writers it was for 14 year old girls) 1.The 100 (idk why this is on the list its more of a SCI FI/FANTASY show its still pretty good tho.... well at least the first 5 seasons)

In the book Lucille meets another man who falls in love with her but she can't be with him either because she still loves this German soldier. So he goes off to war and is killed, Lucille also finds out later that this German soldier was killed too
