For some reason I can't figure out how to install this plugin. It's so simple but it constantly keeps saying it can't open it for some unknown reason. That sucks that I'm trying to sound design and I can't. Serum is the best plugin that allows me so far. Vital is too powerful. Pigments is wayyy too powerful. I was looking forward to this plugin. Seems I gotta wait

I just came here after reading the review. While I can agree that the M isn't bringing much new to the table I just wanted to say that it has gotten quite a few new features in firmware updates. Most notable would be different digital filter types, the ability to use the M as an 8/12bit sampler, and a few different oscillator modes, one being based of mutable instrument's braids.

How is it running compared to 2? Tracktion hasn’t mentioned any optimization improvements. 2 runs like a dream for me, so I can’t imagine it getting much better.

On the website, it states that they've made drastic improvements to the audio engine to increase performance. If anything, it definitely won't be any slower.

I had Synthmaster 2 and I don't recommend it or any of their products. Synthmaster 2 is a buggy mess and created bizarre noise floor issues on any midi track I put it on. I emailed the company a video of it and they basically just went "Yeah sounds like it's creating feedback, we're not sure why that is or what to do about it, sorry lol". This was a few years back, they may have become a better company but there are just much better more solid companies to support.

It sounds ok but I think the GUI will put a lot of people off. Love the name though and Wavesequencer Hyperion. A lot of competition in this space especially with Waldorf's Blofeld coming out and their last Microwave one. All the UVI stuff. Serum, Vital. Gforce. Phaseplant. Bitwig. New Steinberg HALion instruments, Arturia, DSP563 emus, etc.

DATABROTH - delighted to hear you complete this TRILOGY! This is kinda like watching one of those cooking shows, where we get to taste the meal after. I wonder what the I-name is gonna be? INCONGRUENCE? INCOMPLIANCE?? INCONCEIVABLE!!! Infiltrator is such a gemful mine of radical FX, and DATABROTH has been phenomenal with exploring the outer limits and extreme excursions into highly practical glitching. Infiltrator loads presets instantly, so it's fun to just loop a section and then click different ones to find out how they get flavored. I use the previous packs on my tracks often enough, and even applying a slight spice of 'em makes all the difference in adding the edge to a transition or making a basic part more intriguing™.

I've used both a lot, and Transit 2 adds glitch possibilities and is quality for when you want to transition (NOT just dry-wet crossfade but fine-tuned transformations within each effect) and can be easier to tweak and reorder - but Infiltrator 2 still goes a lot harder for the weirdness (like the FFT and other stutter/chop/random/erratic OMG) and is a lot more versatile (54 > 28 effect types) overall. If you care a lot about the bizarre random chaos stuff, definitely check out Unfiltered Audio TRIAD too, it unfortunately hasn't been updated in ages but is still the most flexible with modulator madness overall. I've requested some equivalent and better features to be added to Infiltrator so that the grid can go more, well, off-grid... maybe in v3?

@@torley hm interesting. Yeah I did notice Transit 2 is quality fx. So much of new shit these days has lush audiophile sound, it really makes me happy lol. Thats something I love about Infiltrator is that super wet rubbery tape sound it gets. Its best LFO fx plugin imo which is super important cause it makes a groove come to life. Im gonna want both pretty much lol. Im overwhelmed rn though. Have my finger on the trigger for Output Portal and Thermal too

Yeah it definitely can. lol. Thats why my default way of opening Infiltrator is with a rack that has an ableton stock saturator set to soft clip. Good to protect the ears/speakers/headphones from unintentional bursts.

Wow impressive stuff! I like the modulation options of this synth. FM is a beast way of soundmaking. And DB is tha master!! Edit: I read your review, and despite it having 5 voice poyphony I bought it. Hopefully it will be upgraded. Gonna have some fun tonight.
