I was wondering why there was so much real estate devoted to three effects..and then you split the beam. If nothing else, it's a nice way to bring in a tad of visual computing. Thanks for the stream..err, beam..and I'm reading your review now. And as punishment for my pun, I'll show myself out.

How feasible is it to use Beam as a unique visualiser? I don't suppose you can important you own samples/recordings to mess with at all?

I'm not sure how to feel about an audio plugin developer, spending so much time and resources on the aesthetic visuals of their plugins. I can just imagine, eagerly anticipating the next effect in their eco system to be released, but having to wait months for the final "graphical" touches to be perfected before its release. Afterall, how many listeners can "see" our music? 🤣

There is so many plugins and chooses, you have to standout somehow and this just takes the mundane like fiddling with effects and makes it more interesting

I think this is a very misunderstood perspective, these graphics don't necessarily take any longer than the controls for any other plugin sure, some plugins put no effort into the look what so ever, but these are almost unpleasant to use. but the vast majority of pluigns spend just as long, if not longer designing their controls as Lunacy spent on these, these just stand out more because they are flashy

"Afterall, how many listeners can "see" our music?" what you need to realize is how many listeners can "hear" our music?". Ninety nine percent of musicians and producers are not heard by the general public. Most of us do this because we enjoy making music and for a lot of musicians and producers using tools that are aesthetically pleasing is a big part of the enjoyment.
