You will need the power cable with the rca video jack. Or you have the option to use usb for power and stream on a phone or tablet. The picture is alot better with the video cable and power ran to the camera though.

@jessebrown9030 anytime brother! I used a go pro ram mount instead of hard mounting. I can mount it anywhere on boat in any direction. I even turn it around to look behind me when I'm cruising in the daytime. I used a cigarette plug to usb adapter for power. No holes or wires to be ran.

Honestly my buddies 200 yamaha gets up on plane a little better on his 2120. But it feels exactly the same everywhere else. My Suzuki is a little more fuel efficient though.

It's a stock 5.3 with a small cam, through a 4×4 drive train. It's also safely tuned for daily driving and towing. Cant expect much more than that with the set up. But, it has 400 at the tire now.

I had one of my friend's with a lift install the transmission. He actually installed the new engine as well.

The transmission is a performa built heavy hauler 4l60. The converter is a billet 278mm single disk with 3200 stall. I have 1 3/4" speed engineering long tubes with no cats into an off-road y pipe and single 3" in dual 2.5" out straight through Magnaflow. The engine is a heads/ Cam fully forged 370 with flat tops, which made 400 at the rear wheels. I have they dyno video on my channel.

Not sure. It was almost bone stock at the time. I only get 70 psi now with my lq9, but it's because of the spring pressure.

Nothing wrong with a performa built 4l60. They are the best in the business. The 4l80 is a beast, but they rob alot of power. I would say anything over 900 whp, the 4l80 is the way to go, even though performa built makes the black edition 4l60 that's rated for over 1k.

How much do you tow with the built 4l60 and how often do you tow and is it still holding up today. My 4l slipped just took a shit while towing today and I really want to address the trans issue

It's lowered 3/5, has a heads/ Cam 370, and a performa built heavy hauler transmission. It has the factory rear with the 3.73 gears. It's my daily that I tow with on weekends with. I don't know what you have done to yours, but a tune would help you out, along with a good transmission cooler.

@@bradp9938 I haven’t done anything yet, we just got it a couple months ago, but it’s my wife’s daily and our tow rig for our camper, but I want it to tow a bit better than it does. We came from a newer expedition, but I’m not a fan of the 10 speeds

@bendrinkin1782 it all depends on your budget, but definitely need a tune to take some torque management out and firm up the shift points. Also the factory 4l60 is a ticking time bomb without a corvette servo and good transmission cooler. I always tell everyone to address the transmission before you start adding any power upgrades.

At the time it was at 140k. Now I'm at 169k with a new fully forged heads/cam lq9 with 400 at the tire.

Definitely would allow for a much bigger cam. I only have a 3200k stall because I tow with it. There is alot of power left on the table because of my mild cam.

Why? This is my daily driver that I tow with. It currently has 400 at the tire. There is no need to cause numerous potential issues going with a power adder on someone that weighs over 6k pounds.

I was talked out of the 225 because the performance gains are minimal vs the inline 200. The 225 is heavier and less fuel efficient. Low end torque is all that will be achieved. I honestly think the inline 200 is the perfect balance of performance and fuel efficiency. I would go with a 250 even though the 2120 is only rated for a 225 if you want better performance.

Two strokes are lighter than four strokes, so the performance will always be better with the same or close horsepower. I'm actually getting 3.2 mpg at 30 with my 200. Going faster, to a certain degree, is actually more fuel efficient. I also had two 1kw transom mount transducers, at the time, causing alot of drag. I have since gone through hull and picked up 2 more mph and 1 gph.

@@lou198 you would actually probably benefit with more horsepower if you are heavier. You are going to need the low end torque. But I have no issues with 3 people, a full tank, 3 big coolers of ice, and gear when I go 70 miles offshore. I usually burn 65 gallons on a 15 hr trip.

Unfortunately no. Everyone else was chunking and we were trolling. We went the week after and caught 19 mahi and two 50lb yellowfins. We were chunking.

My transmission is meant for it. The valve body has been altered.

I wish they wouldn't have over engineered the hvac. The blend door actuators seem to be a major problem and expensive repair.

@@haydenhale2646 I gotcha. Might want to consider a little more aggressive cam since you want to go with a higher stall and you aren't going to tow. You can easily get over 400 with a cam that will turn up to 6800. Just all depends how much driveability and low end loss you want.

Not if you have the right converter. I tow a 5k lb boat, and my transmission temperature doesn't go above 180 on the hottest day. Been going for almost 3 years without any issues.
