Every one who is supporting the attitude of Rolex AD with this lady are literally sick minded people, who needs approval of others to get appreciated. This scarcity of demand and crap related to wait list is well known by Rolex and they simply don’t care because of people I mentioned above. Just think why does there is always nothing in AD to sell but flippers get their hands on every model and grey market is storming with every single model, this is a perfect strategy of every commercial organisation to justify their unjustified prices and to provide reason that people are willing to pay waaaaaaaaaay more than what we are asking officially and it helps the, to increase their prices without being held accountable. Watches are luxury and this particular brand despite of selling more than million pieces can’t identify the 95% of their customers who are flippers, only 5% of people are genuine buyers who buy and use their watches, that means they only allows flippers to create history with them? What a joke I don’t see a point, if you don’t have a bicycle and you wanna buy a jet and afford it you can straight have an appointment and buy it and the weird thing is you being a customer lead the rules but when it comes to this ass crapped MF brand they will only promote flippers. They need us not the other way around, in every shop every retail every business every industry there is always high and low demand products, you don’t buy whole catalog to purchase what you want. She was clearly asking for a sports model why the F they were continuously pushing other models? Despite of the fact when you buy these low demand worthless ugly models which are never ready to sell and one have to wait for it as well and still there is no guarantee to have what you want. Rolex watches are great yes Rolex watches are status yes Rolex strategy along with ADs and flippers is what makes them the worst predators Rolex work under this AD model just because to avoid direct feed back from customers and all those ADs are pimps of Rolex are larger scale and the flippers are their S L U T S bringing revenue and all customers who buy Rolex with pride promoting ROLEX worst strategy and showing their childish attitude here to this lady are those customers of those S L U T S > P I M P S > PREDATORS ( flippers > ADs > Rolex ) Peace ✌️Not Really 😏

rolex really isnt that great, plenty of watch brands that build just as good a product that you can buy without having to jump through hoops to get. unless rolex starts charging for the product and not the name on the product, ya ill pass

I have an Erebus Ascent Malachite on order on the J style bracelet. I know someone who has this watch and got hands on before ordering. On the fly bracelet adjustment AND a malachite dial for $499 USD. Definitely punches above its weight. May get the Purple Helix as well

Yep, deployant, but I think major brands do call it deployment unfortunately. I used to work in an AD and they made me call it deployment.

Greeting and Happy Australia day . I have bought the second release of Erebus , namely the "Ascent "Purple dial on the Jubilee bracelet and it's my daily GADA watch . I love it. I understand that you can still buy the "Origin "but the black and white dials are sold out but there are limited other colour version's available but when they are gone they are gone.

Almost everyone changes the strap on these, because that calf skin is probably hard enough to scratch diamonds. I put mine on an aftermarket red leather strap with white stitching that matches the dial and case.

Beautiful watch! Too bad this one isn’t available in the US, but the regular Alpinist (green dial) one of my grail watches. Had finally saved up enough money for one but was offered a Marathon TSAR for the same price. Needless to say the Alpinist is still in the old wish list lol.

The second hand on this alpinist only shows the seconds like a regular watch, has no function other than that. 🙂

That dial looks really good. I've got a brown Alpinist. I wish the date wheel was either colour-matched or dark as it stands out too much - don't know how you feel about that on yours. Also it sits a bit high on the wristt, but I love wearing it, especially in the winter. My other Prospex is the Tortoise, which has an external compass bezel, wears really nice, and is one of my favourite summer watches.
