do you have the small or large sizing catch can from Mishimoto
@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 9 сағат бұрын
It was 5 yrs ago when I got it. It's was likey the small one. I didn't know they offered 2 different sizes. I never filled mine up. I checked it every 3-4 months and there was additinal room for more blowby gunk. Definitely don't want to fill the CC up and then continue to drive and worse drive hard. Causes build up excessive crankcase pressure and would be an issue. And to those retards who claim a vehicle manufacturer would have had them on their cars if they really needed them but they don't understand. The manufacturers don't have OCC on their vehicle from the factory because then people would be required to monitor the CC and empty them. Most people don't even bother to change their motor oil or ever lift open their hood unless their car breaks down. Having a catch can for that reason alone is a maintenance liability.

After watching this episode, l am glad l got the Honda HRX217 😊
@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 2 күн бұрын
The HR217 is a more expensive mower and has the actual 3 true height adjustments which is nice. This Toro Max is pretty good too minus the lack of real height adjustment and floppy handle. The HR217 would compare to the more expensive Toro Super Recycler which yes has the same flawed handle or super comfortable handle however you'd see it. I would enjoy and find informative if I had the chance to mow side by side with both a Honda 216 and a Toro Max. I can speculate that the Toro is more comfortable to push as it is a Cadillac ride with the rubber bumper design, personal pace, and top notch rubber, pro caliber treaded wheels with sealed ball bearings. Plus the max and super recycler have a 5 year everything warranty which sounds good but likely wont be needed on either the Toro or Honda if used correctly. Thanks for commenting.

Not with the mower in the box when you bring it home. Toro will send it to the owner free of charge though when you warranty register it online. Its took about a month and half for me to get mine. I use it 99.9 percent for my mowing. The short coming is it could be designed a little different curve so the clippings expelled don't hit your leg when you pivot to turn the mover. Small gripe. if it where a physical side discharge then you wouldn't be able to get up close to walls and fences unless mowing in a specific direction.

Is there any particular reason you choose Quaker state for oil brand ? Would you say it’s a quality oil brand from your experience with it?
@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 2 күн бұрын
I saw testing done by a couple oil people who are educated/intelligent in the field of vehicle oil and they tested and rated the Quaker State synthetic oil high on the top oils to use. It's not crazy priced either and meets all the required certifications. It's made for the small turbo cars engines and is supposed to reduce oil blowby per one of the certifications. If you change your oil every 5K miles there is almost no difference in added wear between this and a $15-18 dollar QT per bottle oil brand. My recommended Shell brand oil or Motul for my Ducati motorcycle is $100 plus. I could do it on my car for under $45. 5k oil changes highly recommended in these 6 cylinder/4cyclinder/3 cylinder turbo cars. Change the oil sooner than later if you want to keep a long time. Also means the person who owned it before you needed to do it too.

Traxxass warranty used to be good. Now it's 30 days on electronics only. Nothing else is covered. My Xmaxx came out the box with a dead esc and they required a video of it not working to warranty it. I bought a Max 6 and sold the replacement they sent me. Traxxass is not the company that changed rc forever. My collection went from only Traxxas to only having 2 Traxxass left of the couple dozen or so.
@GettingthruLife

I agree not a high-end RC company but appealing because they look good, fairly reliable, easy to get, plenty of parts availability, every RC store sells them. Not the vehicles to get if someone wants to immediately upgrade to a new servo, new motor, new esc, everything upgarded aluminum as they are pricey from the get go. This one just appealed to me because easy to get and the VLX motors are potent but also prone too get very hot. I'm not a heavy use user so should hold up pretty good for my needs. Hard to warranty these items after the fact because people are so hard on them from day one and usually cause the breakages due to negligence. Thanks for commenting.

You likely need to tighten down the steering tube top bolt located at the top of the stem. You torque that down decently tight but don't go crazy. Remember you need to lossen up the two bolts that clamp your stem onto the sterrer tube. You tighten down the top bolt until no play in the headset. @GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 18 күн бұрын
What I had heard going into this Tegu ownership 4yrs ago, is that the Tegu/s from the more Northern portion of South America region are the ones with the less friendly temperaments and more likely to be defensive. The one major reason I was sure to get a Black and White Argentine Tegu. It was well documented/shared that they were the most friendly and the easiest to handle. If I'm getting a large lizard that I'm going to have 15+ years as a hands-on pet reptile, then I for sure wanted one that was going to be pretty friendly, easy to pick up and one that would be pretty hardy. Tegu bites are no fun whichever one it comes from. I just imagine a monitor bite is going to be more messy. I've experienced really only one panic/scared bite from Mac when he was 2.5ft long. It was very painful and I have a video that talks about it afterwards. That bite drew blood and bruised me up pretty good but it was owner error. Even my Red Tegu, she's not as easy to handle as my B&W, but she's still wonderful in her own way. She's just different. More high-strung. With this stated, It would be cool to have access to handle hundreds of various Tegus, male and female, so that I had a more broad experience to speak from. I really love Tegus and want to represent them well. In the early 80's I had a Chinese Water Dragon and it was pretty tame. I look down on those days because i wish I would have been more educated on taking care of my iguanas, water dragon and savanna monitor. I feel sorry for many of the reptiles owned by young children but at least there's more care info out now and more products to care for them.

@EnterTheDragonsLair7777 I had a beastly 5.5ft iguana from a local pet store era 86-87 and it had a disease before I got it. It was dying, no vets around to go to with knowledge at that time, I had it for 3 weeks before it passed. I was caring for it and hand feeding it bananas and then I looked away as it was going forward for the piece of banana. It chomped down on my thumb and lit me up. I'd probably say that was one of my worst bites for pressure all time and it sliced me open top and bottom. I could hear my bone crunch. Next, I got bit by my Burmese 4 ft python in the 90's feeding him. Bit me on my underside wrist and onto my palm/hand. The most blood I've spilled to date. Then that same python at about 6ft got a hold of my ferret in an accidental meeting. Me and my mother got the snake unwound and mouth off and the ferret lived but was pretty shaken up from the experience. Me and my mother were pretty upset too. We discuss it every now and then over the years.

I don't like the play/excessive movement in the handle in the up direction but it get even worse as you more this onses handle into the lower position. Its not a deal breaker as I deal with it as an annoyance but it the handle is very smooth with the rubber bumper concept. It would be very good if Toro allowed 3 adjustment heights and it allowed the rubber bumpers to be moved. I mowed today and it is a pleasure to use and it rolls so so well with its far better than mosts wheels and the bearings. If Toro addressed/tweaked the handle setup then this, Toro Max, would be the near best mower in the $500 to 750 range.

it you are talking about the little rubber cap that's used to plug up the nipple on the side below the heat exchanger tank cap? Sounds like this is what you are asking. I just had one in my junk took box/drawers. You can buy cheaply little rubber vacuum caps: Vacuum : www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/dorman-autograde/dorman-autograde-rubber-vacuum-cap/dag0/47388?q=rubber+caps&pos=1 You just need something rubber to fit over the nipple to pull and hold the vacuum. If you are talking about the rubber piece that the vacuum tool uses to match up to hole in the top of the HX tank? My air lift tool from amazon cam with an assortment of different sizes. This was many years ago but I think I recall it being not the snmallest one but one up from smallest to get airlift tool to fit the infiniti HX tank or the radiator overflow tank. Here's a video which wasn't around when I did mine, this is the tool that I have: shoptoolreviews.com/automotive/diagnostic-testing/how-to-vacuum-fill-your-coolant-system/38050/

Me saying purchased with my own money suggests I will be giving a more honest personal opinion. I still have these 2024 updated KKE forks and like them more than my Fastace forks that are/were pretty much the golden standard for good out of the crate surron forks. One large concern you likely don't know is the pervious KKE forks found on surron bikes wasn't a good fork for more than just ridding around on the street and the rider weighed 110 pounds. these actually work for heavier riders and more dirt bike like riding.

I'm curious to see what nothing more than a Racebox tune and performance exhaust will get me. If I could get to 450 rwhp and keep the reliability I'd be cool with that. Too many people that I know with more extreme mods are always in the shop fixing something.
@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 23 күн бұрын
That's pretty much what I did. (don't do JB4, don't remove catalytic converters/delete emissions unless tuned for it, don't do blowoff valves unless officially tuned for it, don't run ethanol unless tuned for it) I feel after owning mine and going through the process that a high-performance cbe (2.5/3.0) dual exhaust x-pipe system, a high quality 93 Ectuek tune and I'll slide in the bigger/better flowing heat exchanger is meat & potatos of the tired and true jump in hp and torque. If people want to go even bigger and not overly dial things up then add later Z1's big turbos package and a tune. Still way to much power for this cars platform/design/use. Right about the lines of 410+ whp for rwd, it becomes very difficult or near impossible to put this car's 2 two tiny turbos with near instant 450 to 500 pound-feet of torque to use. This is why I lost interest in modding more and flatlined on trying to run good numbers in bad D.A. It took most of the fun out of trying to go past 440-450 rwhp. (My educated 3.0T suggestion if wanting to accelerate as fast as possible and be more safe past 400wph, then need to invest in Micky Thompson 275 or 285 by 17" "R" drag/street tires. With a Ecutek tune and elevated brake boost capability/so called launch control/laugh, these cars roast the rear tires almost into 3rd and I even hear awd too. (downside can't drive in the rain/water with E.T. Street R tires.) Really need to keep stock wheels for weather times and then buy two 10" to 11" wide wheels +.42 to +.50 offset rears and M.T. E.T. Street R tires only. Not the M.T. Street SS tires. And buy a Harbor freight PITTSBURGH 3 Ton Floor Jack under $100.

@Come-What-May 23 күн бұрын
@@GettingthruLife I appreciate the response. I'll take a lot of that into consideration. I've got the 2020 Q60 awd. I don't like the drag radial look, but I'll go to a wider size tire and rim. Again....I'm a big fan of reliability, so I'm not gonna get crazy with this car. Did you swap out the stock suspension?
@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 23 күн бұрын
@Come-What-May No I did not even consider suspension change. A sure-fire way to jack up/alter the car in my opinion is messing with linkage and shocks. Lowering is another sure way to hurt value and alter ride comfort and relaibility. Then when you sell your car you are not going to remove the suspension upgrades. Other people buying your used car don't want the previous owner's choice of upgrades. If you like the way your car rides which they ride very well for an adult then don't mess with things that add NHV, noise/harshness/vibrations and make the ride stiffer. The more you alter your car the less it's worth to serious buyers and dealerships after you use it. Also, the drag radials are just for traction and not for looks. Looks don't usually add up to true performance gains. Not many or very little street rated tires are going to deliver good traction 0-60 mph or 60ft even if 285 but that's rwd mostly AWD cars maintain more traction but not past 440+ whp and 500plus torque at 3,500 rpm's.. With awd you got to be more aware/picky of wheel size and diameter and need to run all four the same usually. Maybe do different widths if ecu allows. 255 front and 275 rear. Cheap, no name tires are pretty much worthless. Need to spend the big bucks and see the real benefits. Unfortunately, tire prices have soared last 3 yrs. Tires now $375-400 each.

@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 23 күн бұрын
The consensus I've seen discussed is 2019-2024. In 2019 infiniti altered the ecu software and the turbos where changed over to Garrett hopefully making them more reliable. Then again around 2020-2021 Infiniti did a major ecu software overhaul as Ive seen discussed. That being said there are some 2019's that have had faulty turbos and porous blocks. Mine, mid year 2019, had sloppy wastegate mechanisms which caused rattling at startup for 3-5 seconds under the car. I would finish by saying the infiniti Q50-60 isn't high on reliability for high mileage. That being stated, almost all the new/last 5-7 year 6 cylinder turbo motors and plenty of 4 cyc turbos cars not anywhere close to bulletproof or high mileage cruisers. Infiniti modern turbo motors are OK but owners need to do routine oil changes and coolant checks. If not you are likely buying into problems.

@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife 24 күн бұрын
Good question, I had to do a little more research. It's possible it could be clogged. The PCV nipple has a little ball inside it that moves based on whether the blowby/flow is coming or going. I would assume best way to tell if functioning properly is to remove it and inspect, shake it and hear if it rattles. Maybe spray some carb cleaner through it and then air hose it with a little air. It appears these VR30's have only one between the drivers side cylinder head and hose running to the intake manifold. (oil catch can connects here.) A faulty Positive Crankcase Valve could lead to more pressure inside the crankcase there by creating more blow-by past the rings and up into the threads of the spark plugs. In all my 40 years of dirt bikes and cars I can say seeing some oil residue on the spark plugs threads isn't unusual. Now if it's like dripping then more concern. If worried then buy one and install and be done with it for another 30-40K miles. www.z1motorsports.com/crankcase-ventilation-pcv/infiniti/oem-q50-q60-30t-vr30ddtt-pcv-valve-p-10243.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw6c63BhAiEiwAF0EH1AYeWrRG5lggNi3uQYLnXebiE_UFsaJkJAp8RHNq5dVfgSe-Tzo0cxoCQakQAvD_BwE

And the Eagles lost so all the patients are being ornery. I said "No extra meds because the Eagles lost". Most of the patients laughed, one asked why not? I can't wait to go home tomorrow morning.

I wonder if your cat will eventually get so used to the Tegu's that he won't always show so much interest. I assume some of his interest is due to him being a kitten and the Tegu's still being something novel to him.

This is a good question. Every body states how their cats are the easiest pets they've every had to care for but this young cat is velcro-ed to my side. Example when I eat he's sitting on my plate pawing my food, drive me crazy. When I'm working on computer he's on my key board or jumps on my keyboard making my brain explode. Hopefully he outgrows his being ultra annoying phase but to some, they might like to have a pet that you can't escape from. WE will see as he grows up because I don't see me stopping making videos. It's highly likely because he's young and everything is interesting. Point, I don't know if he was born in a person's care and then abandoned (because he's just that annoying,) or if he was born from a ferral cat and he hadn't had human contact. He was sure glad to see me come after him when I found him. He seemed to know I was going to change his live situation. I can't find a home for him. he's cost me a fair amount of money to house and feed and the littler box thing is nasty and a huge mess.

@@GettingthruLife I've never owned a kitten but have had a couple of adult cats. I do know that most cats remain at least somewhat playful/curious throughout their life. However, I do believe that kittens tend to exhibit a higher degree of that playful/curious behavior. Some of it is just how they learn about their environment along with practice "hunting" behaviors.

Followed all the steps and still won’t cut with new chain, why so difficult to replace a chain?
@GettingthruLife

@turtlesoup900 i would make sure you have the chain running in the right direction. Happens a lot. Look up videos "mount chainsaw chain in the right direction" if you need help to clarify.

Just got a 2021 q50 luxe (daily car) any recommendations should i get a tune right away?
@GettingthruLife
@GettingthruLife Ай бұрын
@spazih5585 i going to guess pre-owned with between 30 -30k mileage? If you are one of these people who enjoys their car experience and making it look a little more personalized then yep, buy some items. I wouldn't go overboard as their's very little return on investment plus most things to enhance performance decrease ride/noise quality. Infiniti with the Q50's have a fairly nice package as designed. Tuning is fun and it's fun to an extent to feel an additional 150hp but this car suffers dramatically from lack of traction. Getting that extra hp and more importantly the substantial increase in torque at low rpm becomes mismanaged. Once i got tuned 93 I soon became frustrated because can't put the power down to rwd. Awd is better. I had 285 100 treadwear tires and with 2800-3000rpm ecutek launch control/hold brake to the floor, my car would wildly spin. Proper rear tires and wheels going to set you back about 3,000k (tires, wheels, mount/balance, tires sensors). withing with a good ecu tune you will benefit greatly from a cbe and heat exchanger upgrade before cost of tuning. Os it all worth it? Depends on your wallet and how much added joy you will get from it all. In closing, these cars not tough engines and not over built turbos so adding 140 more hp and some pushing 250 plus hp, it does cause more stress.

I have an older TORO 21" Recycler w/the ADJUSTABLE Height Handle, w/the BLUE Handles. The different heights are accomplished by selecting 1 of 3 height holes to set the pins of the blue handles in. The holes you are showing us are the same as the holes for mounting the rubber buffer dampers. It seems OBVIOUS to me that there has been a manufacturing error perpetrated on the mower itself.

I have not taken disassembled the fastace fork. To get info on specs like what you want, I'd reach out to Charged cycle works (801) 449-1050. They service these forks.

@bahiralkrnaoi5355 @bahiralkrnaoi5355 Those things you mentioned doing, i am not trained on or have been educated about. I can change oil, tighten chain, change out brake pads, drain radiator coolant and general maintenance only. For more serious work, I am more likeky to take into ducati dealership. Thanks for watching.

I thought Toro informed you they put the incorrect hoc brackets on the mower? I thought you were taking the mower to the dealer to resolve the issue
@GettingthruLife

I got mixed messages from my local dealer who saw the same issue I did but then they reached out again to Toro, which normal people can't do, and they replied there's no issue on their end. They are not changing anything.

When the coolant comes out like this, oxidized is that it has had to be mixed with another non-compatible coolant, the coolant used by Ducati or the group is G13 is highly corrosive if mixed with water or another liquid that is not G13, that is why it is being replaced by the NEW G12 EVO kzbin.infohiGzKNTQ48I?si=N1nqac_81vHF_xgO

My red coolant that came out in the video was the Ducati factory coolant. My 2020 821 had 950 miles on it when I bought in 2022 from AMS Ducati Dallas whom originally sold it. It got exchanged in 2021 for a 2021 Street Fighter. The Ducati red coolant wasn't diluted. I re-filled it with new 100 percent Nissan Blue coolant which I had on hand to see if any different benefit. A very small benefit, mostly seen as lower cruising temp by 5 degrees. Still get up to 225-227 when heat soak is reached and stuck in traffic. Fans kick on approx 217-218 degrees. Next maybe try Engine Ice with anti-freeze. The Red Line SuperCool Engine Coolant with WaterWetter could be best option but we have odd winters that can see 0-20 degrees for weeks so I don't even care want to consider worrying about the bike being left in the garage as I may not even be around to move inside to heated interior..

@Saddoggiemm Yep Ducati way difference experience and vibe for the win. Harley just not at all my thing. The Triumph's street triple have always been pretty cool too. What first caught my Interest a few years ago before settling in on the pre-owned Ducati was a new at that time Aprilia RS/Tuono 660.
