Are you a former crewman on an M1 Abrams with hearing loss ? if so then you may be entitled to compensation.
@veterankasrkin74166 ай бұрын
Q: I am curious. Do they teach what do to do when tank gets hit by SABOT or ATGM? Do they tell what can you expect when round penetrates the armor? Also, are you confident that Abrams armor can stop most of the opponents ammunition?

This crew needs some serious training. Loader is slow and the gunner needs to learn how to adjust his COAX trigger solenoid. A8 BTW.

Next time when you go to fire the main gun make sure you arm it. Arm up rounds are live. If it’s down your out. Plus the loader was a little slow on loading the round. He needs some dummy round training. Get him good and strong.

Thinking of joining as a 19K, requesting Stewart or something to not get put on the new Bookers. I heard you start as a driver, then loader and then finally gunner? Apparently I also can not join since Im above 6’2” or something.

а если танк в движении по пересеченной местности, на полном ходу преодолевает овраги и нужно заряжать? что в этот момент происходит с заряжающим ?? или вы стреляли на ровном полигоне) или же стоя на ровном в поле в кустах

I'm betting the TC is an officer. The gunner is running the turret, not the TC. Arm above the gun is a huge no-no. When I was in multiple stoppages on the coax led to a break in the engagement to fix the coax.

I've been an aircrewman in my life (OH-58D in the US Army and civilian air ambulance after), so I have an understanding of the importance of efficient crew communication. I sat in the tower at Rodriguez Range in South Korea as noob WO1 with an ICS feed from crews during tank gunnery. Good tank crews are absolute masters at the clear and concise.

Im not sure why the gunner is giving the driver commands. The fire and adjust is for the turret. Also it's a safety crew cut for firing before the "way"of "on the way"

Do you guys have a headache from this constant high-frequency squeak?
@NZobservatory11 ай бұрын
The high freq sound is the gas turbine engine. The crew wear sound canceling headsets. Also, because of the frequency, in videos it tends to seem louder than it really is due to microphone sensitivity.
@jonny29548 ай бұрын
@@NZobservatory It's the hydraulic turret drive, not the engine.
@riatorex87226 ай бұрын
@@jonny2954 Nah, pretty sure it's the engine. Notice how in the beginning of the video, the noise is still present even though the turret wasn't moving like, at all. When it does move, however, it makes a distinctly squeakish sound as you'll hear around 0:37
@riatorex87226 ай бұрын
@@NZobservatory and the high frequency nature of turbine engines also means that they are REALLY LOUD up close, but near dead-silent from afar
