Hi from UK , Just fitted a Limbsaver to my Prazzi .. Could,nt believe the difference in felt recoil..Brilliant 10/10

I spent alot of coin on three fitted Limbsaver recoil pads. For a 375 H&H, a 416 Ruger, and a 458 Win Mag. New they are awesome. 5 years later and all three ARE TRASH. They all turned to goo and will not stand the test of time. They turned into a TAR consistency and are all nasty and junk. It even ruined the carpet floor inside my huge gun safe. All three hunting rifles lived in a climate control Safe / Gun Room and were only used a few times a year. I will NEVER buy this junk material again even though it really was awesome recoil reduction in the beginning. And for the record, The limbsaver products on all my bows did the same thing... turned to GOO after a few years. Its really BS Limbsaver. Wish I could attach pictures here. And before someone says it, NO, it wasnt subject to oils or chemicals, Etc. These are all 3 very fine, pampered, high dollar safari grade rifles.

Does it matter if the rubber part on the inside vs the outside ?

Things that weren't mentioned: When installing a Limbsaver or other super-soft pad or gel pad, freeze the pad on the jig to make the rubber hard and more easily and cleanly sanded. Use a long square held against the bottom of the stock with the 90 degree upright, place the jig against the stock where the pad is going, and just match the angle of the square where the soft side of the pad us flat up against the upright of the square and the metal jig base is against the stock face. tighten down and the angle will be absolutely perfect every time.

Order a recoil pad from the online store, six days later no word on my order and not shippedd. I won't being buying their product from them again

Purchased a Precision fit model # 80201 for a Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag shotgun. Had gotten in a rush and was impatient, due to having gone thru hurricane Helene. Ground the round loop portion off the recoil pad, and then was quite surprised that lo and behold, the screw holes also didn't line up. Instead of taking whatever time the video took to watch, it's been a couple of days now and I wanted to test fire the rifle, since it was purchased for primarily home defense. I'm recovering from stress related to post Helene damage.Town, experienced lootings of approximately 3-5 stores, and 3 pharmacies. Another incident involved linemen working to restore power lines being shot at. Another group of linemen, were robbed at gunpoint, in another town. Three pharmacies,in our town, were burgled of all narcotics. A local pawn shop was burgled. Fortunately , their guns are locked up, in an extremely secure gun safe every night. Rumors of one home invasion are circulating. My son in law, intervened in one incident of 2 individuals starting to siphon gas out of my daughters car. To add...linemen restoring power, camping up the hill from my house, stopped an attempted group of individuals starting to siphon gas from their vehicles, and steal tools. When I was younger, successfully stopped, a prowler being chased down the road, by a neighbor. Weapon of choice, was a 12 Ga pump shotgun. in this incident, the sound of the pump,cocking, immediately took the chase out of the prowler. Didn't have to discharge it. He stopped, put his hands on the back of his head, and then my neighbor, secured his wrists with a large tie wrap. Had to share this. Have been, in a rather heightened sense of urgency, to get the rifle completed. Guess I, more or less, neglected to check whether the PRECISION FIT recoil pad lined up with the stock. Didn't relate this, to the customer service women that answered, just one of my emails, and asked that I provide the measurements of the stock. measurements, which were included in my first email.

Amazing products. I use the Limbsaver string stop, teflon cable slide, fw1 stabilizer head, and 8 individual split limb dampeners. The only non Limbsaver products I use are the bow, rest, sight, and peep.

These are amazing. You can tell just by the feel of the material how well they will work. I actually put 8 on my bow because I like the bow weight in the riser, but mainly because my bow just sounds like a quiet rubber thud now, instead of a loud wood snap.

Mossberg Maverick 88 size? There are multiples to choose from. Or does the size only refer to the addition to the LOP? So all sizes of slip ons fit the Maverick?

This is all dependent upon your firearm - unfortunately Limbsaver does not have a pad for all ar stocks such as if you have Wilson Combat like me your S O L

Impressive to watch a craftsman do this job. A general handyman like myself that doesn't have the tools like Dana uses and would need to improvise. I was going to buy the recoil pad but don't have the skill set to grind away and shape the pad.

I was getting annoyed online shopping for slings. I don't understand the lingo and all the bits and pieces. I was at the store saw this. It's a sling with the attachments. Very simple and half the price of the others I was looking at.

hello, do you think that the placement of two limbsavers by limbs would be a positive effect?? I have a Border Covert Hunter, super curved, fast bow with strong curvature, which has a lot of energy, I have already placed a set of Limbsave 8cm from the junction of the riser and limbs, I wonder if placing a second Would higher in limbo be good?

Id like to find one for a Rossi 92 44 mag. It has a crescent butt stock. Anybody got any ideas?
