If you don’t get a basic pokemon first draw then your opponent draws and you do as well.

what? doesn't the game automatically puts atleast 1 basic Pokémon at turn 1

@@peebeemoa I suppose its patched. You could make a deck with just 2 basic pokemon and when it would fail to draw that would happen. If its guaranteed then this no longer is a mechanic. But thats was the original behavior

in 9:15 I've tried to shuffle the deck with pokeball, but still pull the same card that I've seen with pokedex in 10:25 . maybe it's just a coincidence or maybe the deck won't shuffle if there's no more basic pokemon in my deck.

It's only an animation. It doesn't shuffle

@@Luckycad I'm not sure why it didn't shuffle for you. Might have been a coincidence. I've never had an issue shuffling with PokeBall.

@@ryandavis8658use regular articuno, it has 100 hp, can use water energy and has 1 cost retreat. Also ice beam can paralyse opponent which is great for stall

articuno gets one-shot by pikachu ex so it doesn’t work as a wall vs electric decks. i like the mewtwo variant a lot better since it only serves as a wall or pivot with more HP

U can use amber on a Sabrina to stop them from bringing the dratini out early and if they don't attack it you can just remove it for free and bring something you do want. Just some extra protection on your carry

It’s to counter Sabrina. Fossil is good when not running a lot of basic mons because pokeball won’t search for it and it can act as a basic mon when on the board. It’s also the only card you can discard from the board. You can also use it to cure things like poison from your active Mon if you retreat into fossil then discard fossil to put your active back in cured from poison

yes you can choose the energy in the deck setting (in the same page where you choose board , coin , etc.)

No, because Melmetal needs 3 Metal Energy to be functional. Adding Water Energy would make Melmetal inconsistent.
