Nice video! Why do you have so many B harmonicas? Also, because of the camera angle at first I thought the harmonicas in front were the fake large versions from stores

Thank you! I had so many because I won them in different competitions. Also I wanted to test various models and Bb is my favourite key. Recently I reduced my collection, so I have only 3 Bb harmonicas - Seydel 1847 with overblow setup for jazz, Hohner MB with blues setup and one universal Golden Melody as a backup. :)

@kwkuras Your remaining 3 for Bb makes sense, especially with the setup and your purposes. I do find it amusing that your top harp (the rocket) didn't make the cut, 😂 Great video, btw. I'm a novice with a Special 20 in the key of C, and I'm trying to figure out my second harp. Thanks again.

Hey man. Thanks for making this video. I currently own a Suzuki Folkmaster now in the key of C (my primary key for now), Bb, and F. I'm planning to buy a Marine Band 1896 as an upgrade. My Folkmaster is pretty responsive, but not so as it only cost me like $15. Do you think I should get a Marine Band in the Key of C again or go for a different key this time (e.g. A or G)? FYI, I can pretty much bend, but sometimes the Folkmaster can be pretty unresponsive (not so to the point it becomes unplayable, but it does make weird shrill sounds sometimes). So yeah would love to know your opinion on that matter. Thanks for helping out!

Hey! I would go for a different key, it's nice to have harmonica in A, it's used even more frequently than C! Folkmaster is not a crazy good choice for bending&overbending training, but if you'll learn how to play these technics on Folkmaster, you'll be able to play them on any harmonica. So I would go for MB in the key of A, the old classic combination. :D

But would you say a G harmonica is good since I play by myself anyway, and I personally like the sound of it more than the A.
