I love these old gear drive Kubota's. The newer ones with that stupid treadle pedal suck. Give me a JD two pedal hydro every time so much more comfortable to use. I have a LOT of experience with both.

I think this project was a bit too much for you. 😢 These cars are build so different, so strange, so unique that it takes more knowledge, money , experience, than a lot of mehanices realize. I really appreciate the effort don't get me wrong but even well skilled car mechanics were crying because it was too confusing, and it all didn't make sense in the end. Frustrating, irritation, was a common issue. But heh you tried and that is already a big plus. Sorry it failed.
