The 924 2.0 often had fuel system issues. Most often the main cause is a rusty fuel tank. Sadly, once this happens, it tends to ruin the fuel pump, the fuel filter, fuel distributor, and the injectors. Replacing all of it can be very costly.

There are carburetor set ups made for these sadly not smog legal i my state also there were race hilborn injector set up for these too guy at swapmeet had it for 800$

Get a manual on bosch mechanical jetronic fuel injection. You can make it work. It is kind of like a diesel fuel injection.
