Yeah, it's pretty bad isn't it? My desktop is getting a little long in the tooth. Handles most things alright, but really struggles with Rennsport. Planning on upgrading in the new year (hopefully anyways)

Hahahaha,.. absolutely love this ! You will get the medal for keep trying this year! Great effort again mate. You might think about lowering the AI by 5 points. I like you battling at the end but I'm afraid 105 is a bit too high at the moment. TO give you an idea,.. i have the same battles with AI 80 :-) :-)

You need to get in the slip stream of cars to get a good qualy... difficult but it is a big difference.

Hahaha,.. I do recognise myself so much in this video. Having a great qualy and then suck in racing,.. starting over and over again to not let go the good qualy. I love and hate Long Beach,.. great circuit, bad driving :-). Well,.. from now on I will call you 'Rain man'. :-). Nice to see a sim racer that is not an alien putting vids on YT. Keep it up dude,.. and don't lower the AI. I don't want to see easy wins!:-)

Its a different discipline. Like I said on stream, I've been in a real life regularity rally, where Stage rally drivers were competing in it as a shakedown for their new car (national level stage rally, so not a mind blowing car by any means) For me it's like autocross is to road course racing. Inexpensive, low risk motorsport. Saying its for people who cant do real rally is more than a little gatekeeper-ish. Many people In the local sports car club here that organize the Regularities, also compete (either co-drive, or drive) in stage rally as well.

For the best experience, your line of sight should be fixed. Your sitting to high in the car. Lower your seat or raise your wheel and adjust the monitor height accordingly. Then you will automatically have better control in the corners.

interesting comparisons, NR 2k3 is surprisingly good for it's age. rain on lap 7 in the AMS2 test made me laugh, that looks incredibly difficult

What an incredible story. I seriously loved that track. I hate that politics worked against the racing community. RC was in such a perfect location, that if smarter heads had prevailed, could have been secure in its future for many more decades. If the city decided to develop AROUND RC instead of over, they would never have to deal with residential communities closing in, noise would have been fine, and racers would have an incredible place to race. Thankyou to all involved in RC, the oval was my first taste of oval racing around 2005, and I will cherish the memories always.

Thanks for letting me know about the Edmonton Speedway Revival program happening this weekend. I attended the inaugural CanAm event. That first motor race made me a life long motor sport fan. I look forward to more events like this in the Edmonton area.

That's awesome, hopefully you can make it this weekend, the event in 2019 was one of the best race weekends I've seen in Alberta recently. Good racer turnout, good spectator turnout. If it's like that this year it'll be worth checking out!

Has the maverick an inline 6 car? Of so 200 or 250?

It was originally a 200, but I swapped it for the 250 as the 200 was getting a little tired. I also put in 5 speed t5 transmission when I did the engine swap

This is awesome! great work really appreciate local content creation! Would be even more legit if you could run the spec D drift practice in the parking lot. Seems like maybe just a couple tweaks to get it setup. Fingers crossed it'll come in a future update!

Hey thanks for the suggestion! I'm quite unfamiliar with drifting in Assetto Corsa, but it's something I've considered. I'd probably do so with some input with somebody more in the know, so it's a possibility for the future, but nothing officially in the works yet

Don't have one of my own yet where I race, but I will be getting around to that eventually! Some guys from the Northern Alberta Sports Car Club have been doing weekly races on friday nights however, and we raced here a few weeks ago. If you find their group on facebook, we'd happily have you race with us.

Man good work. When I came to Calgary in 2009 friends invited me for test n tunes on Friday nights after work. I learned to drag race in a 2008 Caliber SRT4. Had a blast and many of the peeps from back then I’m still friends with.

It's called Life at 45 (degrees) and follows the motorcycle racing community through the closure, on its last weekend. Im downloading everything now! Very cool car. I'm glad you went with corner carving over drag racer. I have a 69.5 Maverick (early 70) unfortunately now garage atvthe moment to work on it. So my big plans are on hold for a bit.

Ah, But it is available for AC. It was the first track I made for the sim (There is some improvements to be made) but its on race department!
