my favorite part of the first 3 PC games are the secrets (I still look for games which have secrets like these games) also the atmosphere of the levels (leveldesign, sounddesign and music) it‘s so immersive and its the most nostalgic thing for me up to this date

As a huge Harry Potter fan myself and also a huge gamer, I enjoyed your video. I agree with you on most of your points, except one. You claim that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for PS2 has "a large portion of it is stealth based," yet you acknowledge that you've only played about 10% of it. As someone who has completed that version of the game many times, this is incorrect. There are maybe 3 stealth sections in the entire game. I do agree with you that they are kinda useless since Harry has an Invisibility Cloak, but I can see why the developers chose to include them since a lot of people like stealth sections. Personally, I agree with you 100%... I hate them. But I just wanted to comment and say you were incorrect about the game having a lot of stealth sections.

Tbf you probably only hate stealth missions because you're used to them in games like this, where the stealth (and often the levels) is very poorly designed

I really like HP and the deathly hallows part 2, there's more variety in the spells and playable characters, although it's still a cover shooter, it makes a lot of sense for it to be, At least for me who have only seen the movies, we are no longer discovering Hogwarts, we are practically facing a holocaust that seeks the supremacy of magical blood, And even while we are in the castle, we are in the final battle that will decide everything, I really liked it, and it also has interesting things like Draco throwing his wand at Harry so that he can fight against Voldemort which is a deleted scene from the movie, as a fan of the movies I think it really did what I needed which was to make me feel in the middle of the battle of Hogwarts like the boy who lived.

Found this after checking out your retrospective and it was great to see your views on this subject. Personally ive always had some issues with rowling never really trusting her since her first comments on dumbledore saying he was gay etc it truly only seemed like she was trying to virtue signal due to it never making sense as she never hinted even in the short term that he was only saying it when prompted then running with it. If u checked out her tweets as time goes on she either said stupid stuff or tried to seem like an inclusive person which ive learned through years on twitter is usually done by those that hold some very narrow views which showed here during her tweets on trans community. Personally as someone like me who is bi i could care less if some ones a girl or a guy with the advance of tech we all now have that choice and every human has that basic right to choose it due to this advance. Dont get me wrong i still think 2 basics is that those who are trans should warn people if they are pre op due to some people being straight which is not cool to do to them and also that those who used to be men should not fight women in things like boxing or ufc because i think that would still be unfair since its been proven to not be fair. I personally just draw the line at these two things due to the fact that both effect other people directly unlike the actual change which is a personal journey THAT SHOULD BE YOUR OWN CHOICE and to deny their humanity is truthfully the worst thing she did to them which hurts since alot of the frame work of the series is about inclusion.

'Very white, very heterosexual series' - yeah, I imagine it would be, given that the series is set in Britain (90%-95% white when the series was set) and the vast majority of people are heterosexual (although sexualities of characters are rarely discussed). The orgy thing with Hufflepuff is false, by the way. And of course Rowling's criticisms of anti-semitism would have died away after Corbyn ceased to be leader of the Labour Party. He was the reason for it. His successor is trying to eliminate anti-semitism in the Labour Party. I doubt that the Tories and UKIP have been worse than Labour on anti-semitism, given that the ECHR found Labour acted 'unlawfully' on multiple accounts in this regard, while the other two have never even shown behaviour to be worthy of an investigation. Er...you say this is a persuasive essay? Your disagreement with Rowling on transgender issues starts with an ad hominem (TERFs and attacking a supposed lack of education), then you claim Rowling's essay contains 'debunked lies', without giving examples. Apparently scientific studies provided by Rowling have been debunked, again you don't list examples. This is the opposite of persuasive. It doesn't sound like you've read what Rowling said. The Cursed Child was written by Jack Thorne, not by JK Rowling, by the way. Harry Potter and the universe within will always belong to JK Rowling, also.

Here's how unlucky I was as a child: * I have been reading the books since the age of 8 and: - I had HP1 for PC. My pc would only load the menus. Nothing more :) - HP2 for GBC. that's cool. - Rented HP2 for PS1 for a weekend and couldnt get past the stupid washing machine at Ron's house... - Skipped 3. - Got a new PC in 2006 (no internet) and I got the newest HP game! HP4......... And I had no idea what I was missing....... 5-6 I played as a teen/adult and LOVED em! I refuse to play 7 , just like you said :)

I'm literally the only one who really liked the goblet of fire game? I found the combat to be frantic and fun. Is it wrong to want an action oriented HP game? One that you can simply lay back, zone out and enjoy? Also, there's always some dialog going on while you play, and that honestly keeps me entertained as it's new dialog not from the movies or anything. It makes the characters feel more real, as they react to their environment. The voldemort battle is amazing, I loved how you used the priori incantatem spell to attack the skeletons and the stone death. And lets be fair, it's way more fun and original than the third person shooters that were the last games. I thought the story cutscenes were cool, and I don't care if they didn't tell me the story, I had already read the book a few times and watched the movie countless of times! I don't need the games to be a poor man's retelling of the movie. Honestly, HP fans only seem to want zelda clones or walking simulators. I get it, I'm super excited for Hogwarts Legacy, but as someone who likes action in their games, HP 4 is one of the most unique, most actual arcade-y fun of any of the games in the series. It's awesome that not all of them are zelda clones. Variety is the spice of life after all. And I'm honestly tired of seeing how much hate it gets, just because people expected another game in the same style. Maybe you just had to play it multiplayer to get it. Me and my cousin had hours of fun with it. And I played it alone many times afterward. I even have the psp and GBA versions, aside from the main GC one. And I played them all. Even the handheld versions.

I got a feeling that hogwarts legacy is gonna smash records because the devs said something along the lines like the game is gonna be like bully. So that much freedom and immersion to be a student at hogwarts I believe will be the game of the year for 2022. And yeah don't laugh but I'm getting it for the switch 🙂
